Anyone wanna double check this for me before I go tomorrow?
Transaction 1
Speed Stick x 4 17.96
- 3.00 cvs coup
total 14.96
ECB 13.99
OOP .97
ECB Earned 17.96
Transaction 1
M&M B1G1- x 3 sets 10.47
Gillete Fusion 9.99
Filler 1.52
total 21.97
CVS - 4
- 6.00 Walgreens M&M Coupons buy 2 save $2 (my cvs allows walgreens q's)
total 11.97
11.97 ecb
OOP 0.00
ECB earned $15.00
So I would have started with 13.99 in ECB's, purchased $39.93 in product, for an out of pocket cost of $0.97, and earned a net $15.00 in ECB's
Still working on the rest....but thats it for now...

Why o why cant I figure this out
you all have been so good here. i know you go over it and overe it agian and agian
But i am so confused..
![]()
I think i am confused because if I were to buy the exact items listed as someone else got then why is it I end up paying for them...
Example: 2 bottles of tide,5 dawn, 2 valentines m&ms and 5 speed stick..dont I have to pay for the speed stick? I know you get extra bucks back but dont i have to pay for it first? So how do you guys end up just paying a small amount...![]()
if an item is Buy one Get one Free and I have a coupon for the same item that is for Buy one Get one free can I use it on the item??? Can I use to coupons for Buy one get one free??? Now are all of you confused? Welcome to my world![]()
I just want to point something out that you guys may run into.
At my CVS's (3 I frequent) they will not allow more than 1 CVS "$4/20" 3/15 coupons in 1 transaction. I can see how people can argue it, but this is not the intention of the coupons- the intention is to spend 20 and save 4, not save 4, then 3, then 2.
If you look at your coupons that were posted above, print 2 of them out....read the coupon- it says- "limit one coupon per customer"...technically you can print 500 of them...is it RIGHT for you to use them all? No, its right for you to use the one that you were allowed..
We have a lot of new people on the thread (myself returning from a CVS hiatus) who are banking on stacking these printable coupons. I do not think we should be telling them that this is the proper way to CVS...yes, it's lovely when it works, and if I could I just mightbut if they are going into their CVS expecting to duplicate someone else's purchases, and they can't stack...they are going to have an entirely messed up transaction...and possibly paying way too much out of pocket.
My suggestion to you that are new, is to go to your CVS, ask to speak to the manager, and ASK...they are going to get called up to override the sytem if they do allow it. If they do not allow it, leave the store, come back and figure out a new transaction plan...you don't "need" to stack these cvs coupons to "CVS"...
oh- as a side note, I do not mean this post in a negative way in any sense of the form! I am just pointing out that maybe we should not be relying on stacking...or at least pointing out to the new people that there mileage may vary...

Welcome to our MAD (fun) world!![]()
Hi hmillerbarilla! You're going to be very good at CVS. I typed out a whole sheet of instructions for you and left some coupons at DMom's house for your Soy Joy run on Tuesday. Good luck!![]()
Welcome to the CVS world! I will warn you - it is addictive! You will end up with so much free stuff you won't know what to do with it all! You will have drawers full of free toothpaste, toothbrushes and enough deodorant to make a whole Army batallion smell goodOh and be careful if you are on a diet because the candy deals will derail your weight loss real quick
Seriously, it is fun and can really help you save a ton of money!
Anyway, welcome again and I hope to see you around posting all your great CVS transactions![]()
thank you
hi and welcome
And may I say... I LOVE YOU!! THANKS SO MUCHYes, you do have a certain OOP cost to start CVSing.
If I may recommend a way to begin this month...
Buy 20 Soy Joy bars = $10
Use $4/$20, $3/$15, and $2/$10 printables found on this thread
Use two $1 off 4 bars printable coupons on soyjoy.com
Pay $9 + tax OOP
Receive $20.00 ECB Soy Joy
Buy 4 Mennen deodorants = $15.96
Buy 2 CVS toothbrushes "full circle" = $5.98
Use $4/$20, $3/$15, and $2/$10 printables found on this thread
Use $20.00 ECB
Pay $1.94 + tax OOP
Receive $15.96 ECB Mennen and $5.98 ECB Toothbrushes
Buy $20 worth of Pepsi products = $20.00
Buy 1 Mennen deodorant = $3.99
Buy at least $0.97 worth of something (maybe your Pepsi total was over $20.97 if you bought chips, etc. so you'd be good)
Use $4/$20, $3/$15, and $2/$10 printables found on this thread
Use $15.96 ECP
Pay $0.00 OOP (or just a few pennies, depending how much over $0.97 you were)
Receive $10.00 ECB Pepsi, $3.99 Mennen
You've spent just over $10.94 OOP and you have $13.99 in ECBs.
But, you also have 20 Soy Joy bars, 5 sticks Mennen deodorant, 2 toothbrushes, 6 12pks of Pepsi, and maybe a 2 Liter, too!
That's how I think through it - use the coupons available right now to your advantage to get your initial OOP cost low, and let the ECBs increase and increase!![]()
Ok, I am taking a "baby" step here trying to figure out the CVS thing![]()
Would this work?
Trip 1
Do the pepsi deal spent 20.00 get 10 ECB
use a 4/20 coupon
use a 1.00 "extra buck" from last fall
total OOP$15
Make a 2nd trip and use the 10 ECB to buy the Cottonelle for $9.99 and get 2ECB
![]()
![]()
That looks pretty good!![]()
Just make sure your Pepsi all rings up at the correct sale price. When I first went, some of the 12 packs they had in a big display were not part of the 3/$10 deal.![]()
When you go to buy the Cottonelle, they *might* take the $10 ECB for a $9.99 purchase, they might not, or they might have to "push" it through as $9.99 and not $10.00. Just ask!![]()

where did you find the 3.oo cvs coupon for the deodorant?![]()
Is your $1 ECB from "last fall" still valid? They usually expire in about a month?
Maggie
Not thinking I purchased the 24/7 all at one time and have an ECB for 19.95. I need a good way to roll this into some smaller amounts, but as to not really lose the value that I already have. Another question---the fusion is on sale this week and next. Both times stating 6 ECB's back. I purchased one yesterday--can I still get one next week and get the ECB'S? Thanks.
