CVS ECB Deals - Sales for Week 1/20/08-1/26/08

Looks good but I would make a few suggestions...

I would make the cottonelle your first trip thru. On that one add in a cheap filler item (pack of gum or candy bar, etc.) and use a $2 off $10 printable coupon http://www.cvs.com/CVSApp/cvs/gateway/promotion?pid=6051&step_nbr=160 Also check your coupons for a Cottonelle coupon or register and print one out here http://www.cottonelle.com/coupons.aspx Less OOP :cool1: Then do your Pepsi scenario but also use the ECBs just earned from your Cottonelle :) You will $10 left in ECBs instead of $2.

Also check the date on your ECB. If it is from last fall it is probably expired (unless you mean the one from your 4th quarter 2007 spending.)

I hope that helps. Whever I do my scenarios, I always look to see what items I can match manufacturers coupons with in order to maximize my savings :)

It is the coupon from the 4th quarter spending :)

Can confirm that all of this week's B1G1 free bags of Valentine M&Ms are also generating a $3 ECB (for every two bags) -- not just the green ones, but the pretty pink/red/white ones, plain, peanut, and dark chocolate. Limit is 10 bags.

Requires little oop if you have ECBs to use, otherwise you will have to pay oop and then get ECBs to use for future trip. I had a $5.98ECB & $1 ECB.

Bought 6 bags, $3.49 B1G1 free: $20.84 of M&Ms (CVS reg'l price, which granted is high), Total after B1G1 free = $10.47
Used $2/$10 CVS printable coupon
Used $6.98 ECBs
Paid $1.58 oop

Received back $9 ECBs, which is more than my $6.98ECBs+$1.58 cash.

Thanks for the heads up about the M&Ms. Tomorrow I plan to hit some CVSs head on.

Hello CVS friends...:wave2:

So, smiller sent me out tonight with my coupons and my plan of attack.:car:

AND...... my CVS was out of the Soy Joys. :scared: They got their shipment today but obviously there are other CVS crazy people in my neighborhood and they bought all the Soy Joys.:headache:

So, I went with DMom of course since DH was watching the kiddies princess: pirate: and we went to "our" CVS. OUT.:scared1:

On to the next! :drive: OUT of Soy Joys.:furious: Plus, DMom almost wipes out on the wet snowy mat at the entrance with angry older man cashier... (BTW doesn't look like he wants to see my coupons:scared: ) NEVER FEAR YOU ARE OUT OF SOY JOYS!

and... on to the next CVS :drive: .... and OUT of Soy Joys. :sad2:

We called it a night and DH says...."So, how did it go?"

well, it didn't. :sad2: I have no Soy Joys and I'm stuck with all this Speed Stick.

That's my story for today... tomorrow I'll be in a different part of the 'burbs... maybe I'll pass a CVS. :rolleyes1

bye!:goodvibes

Which Chicago area were you looking in?

Which Chicago area were you looking in?

Maggie

Since I got the full report over the phone last night from hmillerbarilla, I can say for sure they were in the Western Suburbs: Wheaton/Glen Ellyn/Glendale Heights area.

I told her to always keep her coupons on her as you never know when you might pass a CVS! :thumbsup2

You know you are a CVS addict when.....

* you can no longer count how many tubes of toothpaste you have
* you cringe when you see someone pay *gasp* full price for any hygiene item ahead of you in ANY store
* you see someone *gasp* NOT use a CVS card for their transaction and think about what "you could have done" with that persons ECB's if they were transferable card to card
* you give directions to other people using the 12 CVS's in town as landmarks
* the rest of your family moans when you say you just "need to stop for a sec" and see if THIS CVS has those _________"
* you plan all of your errand runs - bank, grocery store, commute, child drops offs around which CVS you can get in and out of the quickest.
* the staff knows you by face/name and either can't wait to see how you do today or hides so they don't have to ring you up :lmao:
* you pick the staff member who drives you crazy just to make sure he/she has a "bad" day as no day is complete with out rubbing your $0.02 transaction into his/her face. :rotfl2:
* You keep a binder with you 24/7 with printouts of all the money off coupons and other assorted ways to save a $1 at CVS and value it as you most valuable item - over family, friends, and all your other cards combined (your child/spouse will eventually track you down but god forbid you cannot locate your extra care card :scared1: )

Are there any coupons out for an amount off of a CVS brand purchase? I wanted one to use for the CVS brand glucosamine this week.

How about when you tell people you'd rather wait until tomorrow to go out because you are sure your coupons will be in and you can go to CVS too?

I have 1 more to add:
* You take your 4 yr. old grandaughter out for the day and she wants to know how many CVSs we are stopping at today. Also she knows where each of your CVSs are.
