customized name on Ariel ear hat

We recently went to the World of Disney store (I believe that's the name of the place) in downtown Disneyland. We wanted to purchase the Ariel ear hat and customize with my 4dd's name but they said they don't customize this ear hat anymore. They said something with the jewels on the back have broken needles or something like that. We asked if it was just their store or if all of the stores at Disneyland wouldn't customize it and they said none of the stores at Disneyland would customize it.

Can anybody tell me if WDW has the same ears and if they will customize it or does WDW have a different design for their Ariel ear hats and if they are different, will they customize it?
