AuburnJen's DH here...
I took a close-up digital picture of one of the garbage cans at the Settlement Outpost- it's one of the few places left with a nice, big, detailed picture of the Mickey with Musket logo. Then, I imported that into CorelDraw and made a vectorized version of the character. (That took about a week's worth of work to get looking right.) Then I separated out all the different colors and ran them through our vinyl cutter (an old IOLINE signmaking plotter/cutter). It took another several hours to get the pieces put back together, and then the whole thing put on the golf cart. (We have another, larger version of the same logo on the front of our RV- we'll post some more pictures of both when we get to the Fort on Saturday.)
It was a fun little project, and I learned a lot about both CorelDraw and our cutter. I'm not a graphic designer or anything- I was just working with what I had and using good ol' trial-and-error. I think it turned out pretty well.
