Current protocols? Elevators? Masks? Buffets?

We are on the ship now. No issues playing bingo. Getting there 15 min. Before start of the presale has been early enough at every session so far.

We’ve only sailed 2x prior to our “Covid” sailing beginning of Dec. nothing screamed lack of choice to us in cabanas. I can see if you have sailed many many times and know what their usual offerings were before Covid you might be missing some things. The only thing I notice is one guy was kind of peeved at breakfast they didn’t have made to order omelettes. I don’t recall this was offered before Covid or not but he was told he could go to a sit down dining for breakfast and get that. We were satisfied with the options personally and to be honest I prefer this set up vs the one before. It seemed less chaotic and I like the fact that not everyone was touching utensils and it seemed less like a fight.

at first I was bummed there was no salad bar but they had ready-made salad bowls with different varieties. Which actually I found better.

also one thing that peeves me generally about buffets is that some people lose basic manners and load up plates, eat half, and repeat. Where often they have a leaning tower of Pisa of plates. Kinda takes the niceness of dining when you are next to a table like this. it seems this new system reduces this

well, now the servers try to load up your plate. More than once I’ve had to say “just a little bit” or “only one piece”. That happened often for breakfast.

Additionally if you have an allergy request they give you much more than what you can have. Then again it was the one time we at at Cabanas for lunch, and it was right at closing. So they could’ve been trying to get rid of food.

Yeah what I like about a buffet isn't the quantity, but ability to try a little of a lot of different things. Rather do a small plate of a few things and then go back for something different... so if they cut the options down, that's a negative for me.
