I'm looking at doing the same thing. Let me get this straight (I hope):

For $90/pt, you get the Sept. 04 points (sept 05 use year for me, I just purchased so I don't get my points until Sept 1st 05) then you can use or bank them to Sept. 05 use year. Do I have to pay the dues or is it the same deal as my Sept 05 points, no dues till jan. 06? I would then get my new 120 pts on Sept 1/05 and my 100 bonus pts on Sept 1st as well for Sept 05 use year.

Since you just purchased and don't get your first points until Sept 2005, I doubt you will be able to get the 2004 points as an add-on. If I'm correct, you'd get the additional points in Sept. '05 and pay only $87 per point. Feel free to confirm with your Guide.

And yes, with a 120 pt add-on you should get the 100 bonus points as well.

$95.00 a point.

If you want 2004 UY points, $90.00 a point. (Provided your UY has not passed as of the time of purchase!)
You also get 2005 UY points
You get 100 bonus points
No annual dues until 01/2006.

If you only want 2005 UY points, then $87.00 a point, also no annual dues until 1/2006.

She also suggested Tramp68 check his/her contracts closely, 'cause the 'deal' they quoted, was not/is not allowed. This is per my guide. I am not disputing Tramp's claims!

And you may well be absolutely correct.

It didn't seem right to me that one would be able to add-on with 2004 points when the original contract doesn't kick-in until '05 and won't even close for several months. But stranger things have happened.

I was told today that I can't do an add-on with a point year that preceeds the point year of my original purchase.

My original purchase will be Sept. 05. Took the $8 incentive on 150 points.

Will do an add-on very soon, but was told there was no way for me to get 04 points on the add-on. Are others being told differently?

Wow- I do not remember typing in 2004 UY...I did not get 2004 UY points. Although I would have taken them if I knew I could do it for $3 more per point. But, If I am understanding this right, I could not have done it because it was purchased after My 2005 UY started...

Am I correct in thinking that if you do the add-on with the 2004 points and finance through DVD that your payments start immediatly but if you do the 2005 points they don't start until your UY begins?
