Bubble skirts, polka dots on everything and grown women in pigtails. Any others?

The dreaded belly shirt- nobody should wear them IMO but especially not heavy or pregnant women.

Thong underwear that are visible above the the pants. A properly fitting shirt would take care of this, but see my above post.

Those big, flowing, short pants. What are they called? Gauchos or something? They look like a giant skort.

The entire 2006 spring fashion line. I tried to go shoping yesterday and everything I saw in all the stores was just butt-ugly. I managed to find a few things, but geez. Doesn't help that I like fall/winter fashions better in general anyway, but this spring seems especially bad.

Muffin tops!!! Or rather, the lowrider pants that cause muffin tops!

Dirty denim, I just can't make myself like it.

People wearing thoise cheap, pancake flat plastic flip flops everywhere; the mall, work, restraunts, groceries.

It hurts my feet just to see it, and then can only imagine how gross they must be at the end of the day.

Tight fitting shirts. I know I have a roll and I go out of my way to keep from showing it off - too bad other women don't feel this same way.

The long shaggy hair on the preteen and teenage boys. I can't stand it!

Your wish has been granted. :wizard: Most shirts and tanks out this season are LONG, longer than a "normal" shirt or tank.

I like it too. I'm always silently sad when my DS gets his hair cut. I do find it quite frightful that someone brought back the bubble skirt. During prom season I was in the Nordstrom fitting room as a teen was trying on a strapless bubble skirt dress. It was horrible. She bought it. Her friends thought it was SO CUTE. I couldn't bring myself to tell her the other dress she tried on was much better. Of course I was trying on ultra low rise Seven's and trying to hide my muffin top so who am I to judge anyone's fashion choices. An NO I didn't buy the pants no matter how many times DH told me they looked great!

My 9 yo has shaggy hair and complete, strange, grown women tell me all the time how cute he is! Who knew? All fashion just repeats itself every 20 yrs. We're in the middle of the 80s now if you're counting...but who's counting?

1) pants and shorts with writing on the rear end    This has got to be one of the trashiest things anyone ever thought of.

2) the whole "pimp/ho glamour" culture

Does that include the "young men", that have half of their underwear showing? I sure hope so.... And how exactly do their pants stay up if we can see half of their underwear?

The HUGE sunglasses!

I can't tell you how many college girls I see every day now that are wearing sunglasses that take up half of their face. It looks ridiculous
