Curb Side Pick UP?

Do you all tip these people? I went to Outback the other day and I just asked the guy if people tip him and he said yes. So I did. I got home and DH said he never does!

I always tip 20% for full service, delivery, and Buffet style when they clear you place. I tip 10% if I carry out ice cream from firendly's or whereever that makes your ice cream sundae for you and I never tip if I drive to the restaurant and pick it up.


So what do you all do with these Curb Side Pickups?

Having never done it, I can't tell you my experience, but I think I would go with 10%, if that's what you tip at the ice cream place. We have called and picked up from 99 Pub, they have a tip jar on the counter, and I usually drop a couple of bucks in it, the person doing the ordering and delivering is not waitstaff, so they are doing something I think is tippable.

We always tip the ladies at Outback's "take-away." Did you know that they are regular waitresses that have to take turns working there, therefore losing out on tips they could make at teh tables. Also, just as your table waitress is suppoesed to make sure everything is accurate, so do they. We usually give them $5, more if we order more.

Ok well, the guy that came out was 14/15 too young to be a waiter. But I did tip 10% which was $5.50. I figure as someone said..it is not full service, but they are doing something!

We always tip. My cousin works at Outback and she told us the same as a pp mentioned...The curb-side workers are servers so they depend on those tips.
