Some will be because they are beginning in October.

I was told by a CM that both CSR and CBR will be getting queen beds. I have not stayed at either to personally vouch for any changes, but she said this was being done and is expected to be completed by the fall of 09.

Really, all the mods should get them. Full beds just don't cut it.

All's I can say is HALLELUJAH!! The deluxes are getting out of our price range, but the double beds are such a bummer for us, if this is true, moderates, here we come!!

does this mean the moderates will go up in price.

CBR definitely has the room - queens should have gone in there long ago.

or is Disney working on another set of resorts cheaper than the values - economy... because at a $100 or more values just aren't the same value as they were.

sounds like time to go moderate again.

wonder when POR and POFQ are going to be done....

Does anyone know which buildings or area they're starting with? We're booked at CSR for Nov 8 -15 for our first onsite stay and were kind of worried about our comfort in the double beds.

Thanks!

Just curious why CSR doesn't show up on the refurb lists. Is it because it's not a major renovation? How do you think it will affect stays for the coming year with respect to number of rooms available and renovation noise? I'm currently flip-flopping over visiting WDW in spring 2009 or spring 2010.

The rehab lists just do not seem to keep up with the resorts or so it seems. According to many posts here the CBR is having major theme changes to some of the rooms and there is nothing listed about that either.

From what I hear, the queen beds are a definite!! There will also be a substantial number of king beds added.

Also, let’s just say that there will be many upgrades to CSR in the coming year.

There will be upgrades to décor and furnishings as well as services. I think that it will all be very exciting.

That's great!!! We are planning on staying next June at CSR and can't wait. We just got back from 2 weeks at CR and Poly, but I still LOVE CSR best of all. What a great resort!!!

If what buzz reported earlier is true, then it shouldnt be 'too' noisy even if you are next door. He stated something like new beds and a coat of paint, so while there would be some noise, shouldnt be horrible. Plus if you get there they will know where the work is taking place, just dont stay close to that if possible, :)

CSR getting CLUB LEVEL rooms now too! Not sure what the heck that means but I'm trying to find out.

If the queen beds thing is true, this will be the resort we book during bounceback free dining. We may even go for the club level thing!!!!!!!! We have big kids and need the queen beds, this does it for me.

:cool1: :rotfl2: :cool1: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :cool1:

Someone come and break dance with me. The rates did NOT increase for next year for the moderates and now queen beds!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'll break dance with you. But with all the exciting good news, I don't think we'll be trying a different resort next year. We'll stay with the best--CSR!
