CSR getting queen beds??

We were there a few weeks ago and a friend of ours who is a mousekeeper told us they're rehabing CSR. Starting in Casitas and moving along from there. Carpeting, flat screen tv's, queen beds, fresh paint, etc.

From what I've been told, it's all the rooms. I heard exactly what you were told. Guess we'll just have to wait and see.

I am hoping for queen size beds too. This will save us from having to bring the aerobed. The regular room descriptions say full size bed, hopefully once the rehab is done it will say queen.

What would be really great is if they had two of the pull out chairs beds like they do at the All Star Music suites with a king bed. DH and I in the king and the two kids would have the chairs and everyone would be happy. I wouldn't mind paying extra for the king room.

this is exciting to hear! I am seriously considering booking a trip for next year when we were planning a year to do something else (cruise, Myrtle beach---something)..

Actually sereral of our buildings already have the queens in them. As of now, Ranchos 6B, 7A, and 7B have them.

That's almost enough to have me change my request on my upcoming stay from Casitas to Ranchos!

That is what I also have been hearing.

Buzz2001 seems pretty sure all of the rooms ( well those that are not Suites or have King beds) will have the doubles replaced with Queens. I hope he is correct because I think there will be a lot of DIS'ners who will be dissapointed if most of the standard rooms at CSR still have 2 double beds come mid-late 2009.

I looked into it and it is all rooms. All rooms at CSR will either be queen beds or king beds. No more full size beds.

Actually, the prices are out on mousesavers for the new Club level/queen beds. And it won't turn me off...it's still cheaper than a deluxe and we still prefer it over most of the deluxes.

Exactly, it's just another option. Don't use it if you don't like it.

We're going in Nov also. It would be real nice to have queen size beds. DH would be so happy.
I'm going to think positive..... they're replacing all of them and they might have a majority of queen beds done.....and we might get lucky. Who knows. After all, IF they've got a couple buildings changed already at the beginning of August and rehab isn't suppose to start until Oct. Good chance a decent amount of the bed replacements could be done.

I am really hoping that the queen beds are the same ones used in the Deluxe properties because the full beds used at the moderates are really hard on my back. Feels like I sleeping on a brick!

They are the same ones that are used in the deluxes.

There are standard rooms in all three sections. You will get a view of the parking lot or possibly the courtyard.
