My boyfriend and I just booked a 7 Night Western Carribbean cruise for December 2005 and we will be traveling withut any children. This is our first Disney Cruise and we are in our early 30's. Can anyone recommend some exciting things for us to do with other adults? I know there is an adult pool, restaurant and deck, however, does anyone have any insight as to special things we can do where no children are involved??

There is wine tasting, beer sampling, bingo, spa treatments, clubs after 9:00. Children are usually welcome at most events though. Find the secret verandah deck 7 Aft . Usually pretty quiet as it is not well known.

I would consider the surial at the spa. Do a search on this board and you get different opninions. My DH and I loved it.
Also there are things at the night clubs later in the evenings that are just for adults
:D

Which sailing are you going to be on in Dec 05'? We and a bunch of other people we know are sailing Dec 3, 2005. DH and I will both be 36 on that sailing.

We will be on the same cruise departing 12/3/05:earsboy:
This is our first Disney cruise and my first cruise at all! So excited, but don't want to wait over a year to sail!
Did you book with a group or just know people going the same time?

Check out the Navigators at www.dcltribute.com/navigators for an idea of lots of activities. They have special activities planned for age 18 and older that are interesting and informative and they're clearly marked in the Navigators so if you want to plan an adults only time, you can.

On Castaway Cay, Serenity Bay is the adults only beach. One thing I found is that DCL enforces the adults only areas and requests folks bringing children into those areas to leave so the adults really do have some space to themselves.

Definitely the wine tasting, as well as Palo for dinner.

My husband and I are about the same age and also don't have kids. We've done the Western Cruise and we were /never/ bored. And we're not huge Disney fans either.
Palo is good, so is the spa and late night walks on any of the decks.
You will have lots more port days than at sea days. I /really/ suggest Sting Ray City. And there's lots of good shopping, and be along the pier at sunset in Key West.
Don't do like we did and avoid what you think are going to be 'hokey' shows in the nightclubs. We didn't go to Dueling Pianos until the last night on our cruise because we thougt it sounded fairly stupid, but the 45 minutes we did get to watch were /great/. I know DP is gone now, but this time we're going to really give the performers a chance.
I didn't notice much dancing at the dance clubs, which was a bit of a disappointment.
The big thing for us though was the relaxation. As my husband says, its the first time he's come back from a trip and not felt like he needed a day off to wind down.
