Cruising towards 10 days of fun... a July/Nov 2012- & We're BACK!!! Pg.50-51

I'll be back later to respond.....

Juliana's scans were clean and she did awesome with he blood draw. We are waiting to hear back from her nurse and get her counts and her kidney function tests.

Thank you all for thinking of her. :grouphug:

Yay so glad the scans were clean:flower3:

I can't believe all the planning you have done so far. I haven't even looked at days yet.
You are smart! I'm just stressing myself out over here. :lmao:

I have looked at historical pasts and if there is a party on Friday, I plan to attend that 1. Right now I have Thrusday thru Sunday planned...I am thinking of add a few more days though.
I was thinking party's on Tues, Wed, Fri, Sun???

I have my resort paid for, so I know where we will stay those first few nights. I went with my gut and decided on a place and paid so I wouldn't back out. If we stay longer I'll go to a cheaper resort for a night or 2 (or 3)
I want some down time, but I also want to hit all the parks...how am I going to work that? LOL!
Yes, you have some planning to do! :lmao::lmao:

So what resort were you staying at again? :confused3 ;)
I still have a long time to look things over yet, so I'll wait and see what happens. Once party dates come out and flight times and prices, I'll be better able to plan things.
I have been watching for jetblue to extend their schedule... they extended it on Sunday but not to Nov. :headache:

Schedule looks good......crowd levels look GREAT! Especially to someone who normally visits when they range from 8 to 10! Does stink when you don't have dates for the parties yet. Still plenty of time to tweek your schedule though. :thumbsup2

BTW, finally got an update done on my TR! :)
Thanks Marv!
I'm still working on those dates and schedules. It is a pain though.

I tried to read your update but all the pics were off line. I should head back there and see if you fixed it. (I'm sure you did) :thumbsup2

pixiedust: Coming your way, altho I'm sure everything will be fine. Such a brave girl Juliana is. She is someone to be admired :goodvibes
Good luck with Juliana's checkup!!! I'm sure everything will be great! :goodvibes
Thank you!!!!! :grouphug::grouphug:

Prayers for perfect results tomorrow Tim! Of course she'll ace it with flying colors, she's an absolute little angel princess.:goodvibes:goodvibes August will be here before you know it and then you'll be on your nowhere cruise in November celebrating her 5 years cancer free!:woohoo: Have fun at the children's museum with Juliana tomorrow. Too bad you couldn't sneak a Mickey bar or dole whip float in with ya.:goodvibes
Thanks Molly! :grouphug:

We didn't end up going to the museum today. She ended up with a fever yesterday afternoon. We just laid low today and watched a movie. Her fever broke this afternoon, so hopefully she will be going to school tomorrow.

Just read Mel's update on FB. :woohoo::woohoo::woohoo::woohoo:
Such great news about Juliana's scans! Hopefully the blood work comes back clean as well!
Yeah of clear scans! :cool1::thumbsup2:goodvibes:banana::woohoo::dance3::cheer2::banana::cool1::woohoo::yay::dance3::cheer2:
:cool1::cool1: :banana::banana::banana:

Great news !!!!!
Yay so glad the scans were clean:flower3:
Thank you all!!!!!!

We are still waiting to get the results of the bloodwork and her kidney function tests. Hopefully we will hear something tomorrow. :goodvibes

Thanks Molly! :grouphug:

I'm so happy!:goodvibes:goodvibes Excellent news Tim! When will you hear about her blood tests then?

Oh, poor little Ana. I hope she's feeling better today.:flower3:

Juliana went to school today. Melody was at the school this morning (she volunteers on Wednesdays) and said she was doing good.

I don't know when they are going to call with the results. They usually call that evening or the next day. I guess they were fine because they didn't call. I'm sure Mel will be following up with them.

There hasn't been much planning going on recently but I did want to share a few ADRs that the crew came up. We just asked everyone to give a few places that the definitely wanted to eat, and any that they DIDN'T want to eat at. Here is the list....

Breakfast

(Jamie) Crystal Palace
(Everyone) Kona
(Melody) Tusker House

Lunch

(Jamie) Cinderella's Royal Table
(Dave) Le Cellier
(Tim) Beaches & Cream

Dinner

(Dave) Cape May
(Everyone) 'Ohana

DON'T EAT LIST

Y&Y (ts)
Hollywood & Vine

This is a preliminary list. I do see one problem so far. Jamie wants to eat at CP & CRT. I'm not too sure how this is going to happen unless on our day off we go eat breakfast there then leave the park and on our MK day eat lunch at CRT. I'm not sure I even want to eat at CRT. :confused3

I know the wives were talking about bringing the girls to BBB. That seems like a lot of 'downtime' doing BBB, CRT, and CP in the same day. :scared1: I guess there is a lot to figure out trying to fit this stuff in.

That is it so far with dining. We do have another few months till we have to make out ADRs though so we have time to work on it.

Oh, BTW, did I mention we are going to Florida over Easter 2012? :confused3 ;)

Hmmm, I think you're right...something's going to have to give between CP and CRT. Not a long enough walk between the two of them to work up an appetite. ;) Unless you're planning on going to the MK on a couple of separate days I think the two of them are too much.

Excellent dining choices.:thumbsup2

As for your CP and CRT issue, could you do an early morning, before the park opens, ADR at CP and then lunch at CRT? I know you're not too enthused about CRT (can't really blame you, it's sooo pricey and the food is just ok) but if the ladies are wanting to AND the princess is wanting to, well you might be crap out of luck Tim!

Another alternative, the new Fantasyland area will be partly open and there is a Beauty and the Beast restaurant which I believe will be counter service for lunch but sit down table service for dinner. Might be an option if it's open in November.

And I'm with ya on the Y&Y, no way.:thumbsup2

I agree CRT, BBB and CP is a lot for one day. Would it be possible to do BBB in DTD then do the Cinderella dinner at 1900PF at night? (assuming they want the BBB makeover for the CRT lunch). I know it isn't the same thing, but could be a good way to spend your down day.

Got a little bit behind the past few days...

Maybe I should just hire someone to plan this trip for me. You have a lot of spare time on your hands, right?
Absolutely! For just the cost of a trip to Disney World, I'd be more than happy to plan your trip. See, bring Barry and me and you'll have everything planned and all the Dole Whips you can eat! :thumbsup2

Maybe the dad's could sneak away for a little while. ::yes::

I doubt the wives would go for this though. :sad2:
My DW didn't have a problem with me going off on my own while she rested... just sayin' :rolleyes1

Juliana's scans were clean and she did awesome with he blood draw. We are waiting to hear back from her nurse and get her counts and her kidney function tests.

Thank you all for thinking of her. :grouphug:
Geez, how have I not seen anything about this yet? I'm glad the scans were good. Hope the blood tests come back good too. I'd have to agree that no news is good news, but still it will be great to know for sure.

I know the wives were talking about bringing the girls to BBB. That seems like a lot of 'downtime' doing BBB, CRT, and CP in the same day. :scared1: I guess there is a lot to figure out trying to fit this stuff in.
There's your rest day. :thumbsup2 :lmao:

so happy to hear Juliana's scan's came back clean :woohoo: one step closer to being done :woohoo::woohoo::woohoo:

like your democratic way of choosing restaurants! majority rules right :thumbsup2 thinking BBB, CP and CRT are a lot for one day, good luck getting that all figured out

what's this about going to FL at Easter....going to visit Mel's grandpa? are you getting to sneak a Disney day in?

So glad your daughter's scan came back normal. I hope all her blood work is normal as well.

I have to admit I love Kona breakfast, but I am also a big fan of CP! I have never been to CRT. One of these days! :goodvibes

I'm so glad Juliana's scans came back normal!!! Here's to the rest of the tests going just as well!!! :wizard:

Hmm. I think I'd consider a super-early breakfast at CP, then lunch at CRT. It does seem like quite a bit in one time period, especially with BBB added in. Lots of characters for one day! If you are able to space them out amongst your days, that might be a bit less jam-packed!

I haven't been around lately, but I'm SO HAPPY to hear that all of Juliana's scans came back clean!

I agree Glen. I really don't like to have 2 TS meals in the same day either. I feel like it takes up way to much park time. Also I don't really want a TS on a party night either.... unless we arrived in MK at like 2pm on the night of MVMCP and had lunch at CRT then. :scratchin

Excellent dining choices.:thumbsup2
Thank you Molly! :goodvibes

I guess I could do an 8am CP then a late lunch and just snack for dinner. :confused3

Or check out my idea that I posted up there to Glen. ;)

Another alternative, the new Fantasyland area will be partly open and there is a Beauty and the Beast restaurant which I believe will be counter service for lunch but sit down table service for dinner. Might be an option if it's open in November.
Melody mentioned to me she is interested in eating dinner at the new restaurant. I searched the internet and haven't found any projected menu.. you know something I don't? :surfweb:

And I'm with ya on the Y&Y, no way.:thumbsup2
I like Y&Y CS... :rolleyes1

I'm sure if it is available the girls want to do BB in the castle. If we are to do all three of these, they are going to have to be on different days. popcorn::

Got a little bit behind the past few days...
No problem. :hyper2:

Absolutely! For just the cost of a trip to Disney World, I'd be more than happy to plan your trip. See, bring Barry and me and you'll have everything planned and all the Dole Whips you can eat! :thumbsup2
Let me think this over and I'll get back to you.

My DW didn't have a problem with me going off on my own while she rested... just sayin' :rolleyes1
What are you saying? You wife is cooler than mine? :confused3

Geez, how have I not seen anything about this yet? I'm glad the scans were good. Hope the blood tests come back good too. I'd have to agree that no news is good news, but still it will be great to know for sure.
Thank you. Melody put a call into the hospital today and they didn't call us again. :headache:

so happy to hear Juliana's scan's came back clean :woohoo: one step closer to being done
She's getting closer! I can't believe she is only 6 months away! :yay:

like your democratic way of choosing restaurants! majority rules right :thumbsup2 thinking BBB, CP and CRT are a lot for one day, good luck getting that all figured out
I have a feeling that there are going to be times when we have to split up for meals, rides, or whatever. :cool2:

what's this about going to FL at Easter....going to visit Mel's grandpa? are you getting to sneak a Disney day in?
Yes. We are going to visit Melody's grandfather. We are going Friday April 6- Wednesday April 11th. Unfortunately, we aren't fitting any Disney time in. Mel's cousin is driving down to spend a few days with us though. :goodvibes

So glad your daughter's scan came back normal. I hope all her blood work is normal as well.
Thank you! We are still waiting to hear the results.

I have to admit I love Kona breakfast, but I am also a big fan of CP! I have never been to CRT. One of these days! :goodvibes
We have made it a tradition of going to breakfast at Kona. We love it there too! :goodvibes

We haven't been to CRT in a few years... I wouldn't mind eating there but I wouldn't be disappointed if we didn't.

I'm so glad Juliana's scans came back normal!!! Here's to the rest of the tests going just as well!!! :wizard:
Thank you!! :goodvibes

I'm glad I have some time to figure things out... but park hours would help with the planning. :rolleyes1

I haven't been around lately, but I'm SO HAPPY to hear that all of Juliana's scans came back clean!

Thank you!!!!!! We are relieved once again. She did a great job too. :goodvibes:goodvibes

Thank you. Melody put a call into the hospital today and they didn't call us again. :headache:

GRRRR about not getting the results on the labwork yet, it makes me

BUT....WOOHOO :woohoo::yay::dance3::yay::woohoo: WOOHOO for clear scans! That is AWESOME NEWS!!!! :thumbsup2

And a trip for Easter!!! I am so happy for you Tim, I truly am. :goodvibes:goodvibes

They are usually so good about calling. They just moved into a new cancer center so I don't know if this has anything to do with it? :confused3

It will be nice to get out of here and relax for a few days. We are staying with Mel's grandfather so this trip shouldn't cost too much. I will say the price of the rental cars are CRAZY right now. I hope I can score a good price on priceline.

I have to admit, the idea of CP, CRT and BBB potentially in one day would make me think...why have a park ticket?

Then again...I have little boys! Oh wait, they keep telling me I'm not allowed to call them little

:rotfl:

I could do any one of those 3 on any one day but definitely not more than one. Of course neither CP or CRT excite me so that's part of it! For me, I'd probably opt for BBB and then better food elsewhere...that serves adult drinks after surviving BBB. JK, I would love to take a little girl to BBB but have to agree, the characters at 1900 for dinner are just fabulous..and decent food to boot. Glad to see you all agree on one place at least!

I am thinking that no word on the bloodwork is very good news. In my experience, bad news travels very very fast. Fabulous news on the clean scan!!!
