Cruising towards 10 days of fun... a July/Nov 2012- & We're BACK!!! Pg.50-51

I'm so sorry to hear about your granfather. It does sound like it is for the best though and he is in a better palce.

As for all those MK activities, why don't you just have the ladies do the CRT. You "men" can then go off and have fun for an hour or so with out them.

I had to catch up on a lot here, since we were away for a week.

Glad to hear that Juliana'a scans came back okay and nothing better than an easter trip to Florida to celebrate that.

Sorry to hear about your Grandfather.

I'm very sorry to hear about your grandfather. I do completely understand about not being overwhelmingly sad - sometimes people are in a much better place, which it sounds like he is. How wonderful that you do have the picture of the 4 generations of your family though!

Thank you Molly. I do appreciate your kind words. I am going to dig up some pictures of him when I was a kid. Those are the best memories I have of him. :goodvibes

Hey Tim, I hope you're all doing well.:goodvibes I know what you mean about remembering your grandfather at a certain, younger age. When mine passed away from throat cancer, he didn't look anything like his former self and that was hard to see. My mom (it was her dad) didn't want to see him close to the end because of this. I choose to remember him from when he was younger with his twinkly eyes and jolly smile. Ok, I realize I just made him sound like Santa Claus but he really did have those eyes and smile!:goodvibes

I have to admit, the idea of CP, CRT and BBB potentially in one day would make me think...why have a park ticket?
I guess you need the ticket to get to all those ADRs. :lmao:

Then again...I have little boys! Oh wait, they keep telling me I'm not allowed to call them little

:rotfl:
:rotfl2:

I could do any one of those 3 on any one day but definitely not more than one. Of course neither CP or CRT excite me so that's part of it! For me, I'd probably opt for BBB and then better food elsewhere...that serves adult drinks after surviving BBB. JK, I would love to take a little girl to BBB but have to agree, the characters at 1900 for dinner are just fabulous..and decent food to boot. Glad to see you all agree on one place at least!
We love 1900PF but I don't know if we will be heading there this trip. I'm sure we are going to have to have a few meetings with our friends to figure out some dining. I am also going to try to talk them out of BBB, CRT, & CP on the same day. :surfweb:

I am thinking that no word on the bloodwork is very good news. In my experience, bad news travels very very fast. Fabulous news on the clean scan!!!
Thank you! We still haven't heard anything about the blookwork. We are assuming everything is good.

Great news about Juliana's scan! :woohoo:
Thanks Mark!!!!!

I agree that CP and CRT on the same day sounds like an awful lot of down time. Just tell them that you called and CRT is already booked solid. :rotfl2:
Not a bad idea! I will have to remember that if my Disney 'Expertise' doesn't get through to them. :lmao:

that's great you will have a nice long visit with grandpa! sure he can't wait to meet Christopher and see Ana again! have a feeling there will be some beach time mixed in there and fun to see the cousins too!
Oh yea... we are planning at least 2 days at the beach. WE won't spend the whole day there but just a few hours to enjoy the sun and the water. :goodvibes

Well hello there.

You know how I've become regarding TR's - but I thought I'd pop in and say hi.

So :wave2:

Thank you Jen.

Humm... not a bad idea. :scratchin

But to tell you the truth, I like watching Juliana get transformed at BBB. Pretty soon she'll outgrow this. :sad1:

:thumbsup2 I also look forward to an afternoon of doing nothing on the ship!
At least you leave before I do.. so I can get some more tips! :lmao:

Here is link with quite a few different Navigators: http://www.wdwinfo.com/wdwinfo/cruise-new/cr-stateroom-navigator.htm Otherwise the Cruise Boards have quite a few that people have posted as well.
Thanks for the link!!!

I read through a few and they have a ton of stuff going on!!! I have no clue how they are going to fit all that in to a 2 night cruise. :scared1:

And yes, we still have a while to wait for November hours. :sad2:
:badpc: :faint::faint:

Welcome back!! :goodvibes

Thank you.

The wake is tomorrow night and the funeral is on Thursday. Now we are expecting a snowstorm starting tomorrow afternoon and I have to drive 30 miles to get to the services.

My dad emailed me a ton of pictures. They are making a DVD of his pictures. :goodvibes

Thanks for sharing that story.

I'm sure it will be sad the next few days but I think this will be about celebrating his life and not being too sad about his death.

Hello there Christopher!

Thanks for stopping in! :thumbsup2

Feel free to chime in when you can.. or just lurk away! :rotfl2:

I just want you to know that I'm NOT here to follow along with either of your Trips. I'm just here to keep an eye on you.:sail:

But I guess as long as I'm here I can browse around a little bit...

I guess I should :welcome: you to be nice. ;)

Hopefully I make it to the race.. then I hope I'm able to make it through the race.... :rolleyes1

you will :cheer2: I am on "Team Tim" :cheer2::cheer2:

Thank you Lisa.

your welcome, hope it went well  how is Juliana handling it?

btw I started our Feb DLR TR....its added onto my OCT TR...when you get a chance to come by....

She knows he is gone but I don't know if she fully understands.

its hard at her age to understand....Megan was almost 3 when my dad died and about 5 1/2 when Jim's mom died, she doesn't remember any of it only that they were sick.

Yes, I need to get to your report... and a few others as well. :rolleyes1

thanks for stopping by tonight, didn't mean you had to go right away...we all understand, family always comes first!

I have been a lurker on this board since I discovered it about 8 months ago, but after reading your reports and stories I had to post. First and foremost I want to commend you on everything that you went through with little julianna. As a father I know how difficult those times must have been for you and your wife. I am so happy that she is doing so well.
Let me start with, My name is Tim, I live in CT and have a little girl Julianna's age. Like you my wife dragged me three years ago to disney for the first time and I was hooked when I walked into the MAgic Kingdom and saw Spectromagic for the first time (You can see we have alot in common). Disney has now become an obsession of mine and we are taking our fourth trip in June. Looking forward to reading your reports and I am even Thinking of doing my own. We will see how it goes!!!!!

Tim, I was going to rag you about having two PTR's (yes I saw the other one several days ago, I am just behind as usual. I could have actually signed in on page ONE, for some strange reason I saw it right after you posted, which we both know NEVER happens) and SOMEHOW I missed this about your grandfather. Is it wrong that you aren't overly sad?? I think it is a gift that you recognize this as a blessing. I look forward to my own resting place someday and I think when we have Four generations for me to love at once would be a PERFECT time to day goodbye. Kudos to you for being so smart! :goodvibes

Now I am wondering if I can jump in on the other PTR where I will be the odd person out only "knowing" one of you and KNOWING I will NEVER run a marathon...unless you count the marathon of doctors I run to daily...:lmao::lmao: AND I will be eternally behind....

:welcome: Tim!!!!

We aren't super parents. We just did what we had to do to get Juliana better. We couldn't believe what we heard when we brought her to 1 year check up. Those were words I wouldn't wish on my worse enemy. She (and we) has been though a lot but we can see a light at the end of the tunnel. She is about to hit her 5 year mark and we can proudly tell people our daughter fought and beat cancer. Unfortunately, not all parents can say those words. They fought valiantly but lost. We are grateful to her doctors at CCMC and thank God that her cancer wasn't worse and never came back.

Wow, your story is so similar to mine... I feel like I'm talking to myself! :rotfl:

I've met some great people on this board and as you can see by my post count have been hooked. :surfweb: I'd love to read about your family so if you do decided to start a report please let me know! :goodvibes
