Totally a first world problem. And I'm actually very excited about it!!

We cancelled a Dec 2016 CL 4 nighter due to too much on the schedule. I moved the deposit to the 5 night Canada in 2017. I'd gone back and forth on a balcony (never considered CL because we're going with friends and they would never spend that - and we really shouldn't either) and decided I didn't need one. It'll be cool and get dark early.

So, I called DCL and we actually scored connecting SPH cabins! I think it'll be a blast. (We've got connecting balconies for a 12 night BI cruise earlier in the year).

I put DH in one room with a friend (gold) and myself (platinum) with a friend so we can get Palo brunch and dinner and early boarding times.

Even though we're technically sailing in an inside cabin, we're really looking forward to it!

Congratulations! We are trying a secret porthole cabin on the WBPC in the spring. I think it's a great way to save money for other things!

Remember to ask guest services for keys to each other's rooms, so you can sleep with your own spouse!

I stayed in a SPH room a long time ago (on the Magic). I remember being happy with the room.

I've decided that I'll pay for a verandah when it's a "have to have" view, we sailed Norway with a Verandah, but if we can save and get a window or SPH for other times, I'll do it.
