Cruise's (Chris) Accountability/Sap Journal :) (comments welcome)

Good morning Chris!

I hear there's a clippie party going on in your journal! :jumping1: Woohoo! Congratulations Chris! :Pinkbounc You did it! :cheer2: I am so proud of you! This is a great start to your week! :goodvibes

Have a wonderful Monday! :sunny:

Chris, congrats on the new clippie!!! It looks wonderful on you.

To the bra question - you can always get measured at Victoria's Secret without buying anything. Just ask to be measured when you come in and tell the girl you just want to look - you don't have to buy anything, and please don't feel pressured to do so.

Have a great Halloween!

Congrats on the new clippie! You are doing so well.

Sounds like you've had fun with the restaurant eating lately. We don't eat out anymore (once a month for under $20 total now) so I was savoring what you ate instead! :teeth: Sounded yummy!

We used to stop at Cracker Barrel on our way to WDW, when we used to drive down. The closest one to our house is in Mass though, about 2 hrs away. yikes...

Well, gotta jet, but wanted to stop by and congratulate you! And, also, to thank you for stopping by my journal too!

Happy Tuesday! :sunny:

Congratulations Chris on getting that new clippie!!!!! Keep up the great work.

You are doing awesome!

Hi Chris!!
Congrats on the new clippie.....
Happy November.

Well, I had a flub up last night and gained a pound because of it. I had a very high stress doc appt yesterday and did okay during the day but when I got home last night I lost it with food. And then I paid for it today. However, I don't feel too bad today so maybe some of it is water since the items I ate had high salt contents (yeah, that's it :) ).

So on to a new day. Still stressed but will get through it and work through it other than food.

Thanks to everyone for stopping by. I still can't believe that the scale is saying what it is. It's a happy, I can't believe it, feeling though.

Keep on
Chris

You are doing so great! One lb gain when you've lost 40 is nothing to sweat. It will come off again! Somehow I know you are not the only one who splurged last night...

I agree with the others - get measured at a bra place. I don't know about your size question since I have never been out of the A/B range...

You are doing awesome, keep it up! You have every right to be SO proud of what you've accomplished so far! GOOD FOR YOU!!!!!!!!! :cheer2:  :cool1:

Hi Chris!! :)

I am sure that pound is all that water the salt is holding on you, a good clean day of eating will get rid of it! :)
Besides the new clippie looks too good on ya!

Mike :goodvibes

I wish they didn't make such a thing as salt - you know. Got on the scale this morning and holding at 40 pounds. I had pizza last night and wasn't going to eat anything later but had a handful of peanuts. I'm sure that is doing it. You can see it in my hands. Although I got my hair cut last night and really needed it, I thought I would have lost 5 pounds just there!!!!!!! I mean it REALLY needed it.

Hope everyone has a great day. I have a busy one. Have a tech meeting at 10 for Student Affairs and it should be a good meeting - suppose to be some interesting discussion. We'll see. Then the next two nights are going to be non-stop - I hate weeks like this.

One good thing that I found out last night at Jazzercise is that they are now going to start having 80 minute classes on Sunday's!!!!!    That will help on weeks like this one when I can only get there once during the week. And then starting in January they might be doing 6am classes. Which will be good again on nights that I can't make it I can go at 6. I know - pretty early but hey, it will get me going. Now we'll see if I can really make it. I did tell the instructor last night that some of pieces that we did we can't do at 6am - requires too much concentration and to actually be awake!!!! ROFL :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

Keep on
Chris

Hi Chris - have a good day (no salt - no salt - no salt).

:sunny: :thewave: :sunny:

That'll be great if you get some more options with your classes! That'll really help that scale get moving again!

Remember that your weight loss will ultimately slow down. 1-2 lbs per week is still really good! Don't get frustrated and keep up all your hard work! :cheer2:

Well, kind of a good day. And I say kind of because I ran out of time to eat. I didn't get much veggies in because after lunch I wasn't hungry. Had to work at the habitat office tonight so had to eat a quick dinner, which filled me up but didn't have time to eat more until I got home and ended up changing what I thought I was having for dinner so that threw my whole counts off. Here's how I did:

breakfast
low fat granola bar
fat free yogurt
cheese stick

lunch
3/4 of Qdoba naked fajita ranchero burrito w/ 1/2 cheese

snack
almond joy

dinner
subway steak sub

snack
1/2 cup fat free frozen yogurt

And here's my totals: 1087.5 cals, 21 fat grams, 165.75 carbs, 9.75 fiber grams. See, not good. I should have had a cup of fat free frozen yogurt - I so wanted it. But it's too close to bed so I can't eat anymore.

Water was very poor today because I forgot to take more with me to work as I forgot I wasn't going home for lunch. So I only got 42 ounces in. Yesterday I got 106 ounces in.

I know there will be a loss on the scale tomorrow but I also know there will be an even out on Friday I'm sure. My stress level has been very high and I'm sure that's helping me. We'll see. Things aren't going to calm down for a bit - got more word from the doc that more tests are needed and that we will then go from there. Very happy with the thoroughness but a tad anxious too. This is all over a spot on my right breast. I'm glad they are being thorough but it's been enough to drive me nuts somewhat (for those that don't know my mom passed away from breast cancer 3 years ago - thus the reason for the thoroughness, more on my part but even more on this new docs part; she's awesome!).

Hope everyone had a good day and night.
Keep on

Good morning. Well the one pound is gone but I'm still feeling a bit bloated. I can tell I didn't drink enough water yesterday so I made sure to pack it this for today.

Going to get flu shot soon - university was able to get a "clinic" together and they filled up so fast that people might be turned away. Fortunately you had the option of riding the shuttle to the Health Department and guaranteed a spot or go on your own and risk it - I got a spot since I'm high risk due to chronic bronchitis. PHEW

Hope everyone has a good day.
Keep on
Chris

I hope everything turns out OK with your tests! :grouphug:

Your eating still looks good. I don't think 1 low calorie day will do any harm and you already know how to fix that for today, great planning!

Keep it up! :cool1:

Wow, yesterday was a strange day for me foodwise, well sort of. Scale this morning said I lost .5 pounds. However here is what I ate:

breakfast
low fat granola bar
fat free yogurt
cheese stick

lunch
1 cup turkey/beef chili
6 saltines
1 low fat/low carb pillsbury wheat roll
2 TBSP bummel and brown margarine
1/2 cup cottage cheese

snack
bite sized almond joy
small golden delicious apple
18 carrots
2 TBSP low fat dip

snack/dinner
2 sausage meatballs in sauce
4 carrot sticks
6 celery sticks
2 small squares of cold pizza (at 10:00pm)
probably about an ounce of peanuts

Not a great meal after I left work. I had a city reception/address that I attended and didn't have time to stop to get some solid food and I had a meeting right after I left the address to get to and no time to stop and get anything to eat between. I should have had more meatballs or veggies. I thought I'd be home sooner than I was too but my second meeting ran very long (board meeting). So when I got home I was starving and went for what I could get my hands on first.

I did get 93 ounces of water in. Most of it at my second meeting which helped to keep me full. But then I ran out of water!!!

I couldn't tabulate anything because I really didn't know about the meatballs and really didn't have time. I was hoping for a bigger loss but I'll take the one that I got. Now I have to force myself to be good this weekend. That will be hard I think but we'll see.

Weekend will be packed - just thinking about all the places I have to be at tomorrow makes me tired. I can't wait until this weekend is over.

Hope everyone has a good day and if I don't get back on here a good weekend.
Keep on
Chris

It's not fair that weekends are more jammed packed with work/errands than weekdays sometimes, is it?!? There are some weekends that go by WAY too fast!

Your food doesn't look that bad. Keep it up over the weekend, you are doing good! :goodvibes

Hi Chris: Just finished your journal and had to say hello...Hello

One of my staples before starting my journey was Pizza. I guess I am sort of Pizza possessed. So I really like reading your journal but I am holding off until my Dec. WDW trip because I cant just eat one piece like you.
Keep up the great work.
Russ

Well today ended up being another strange one - for me anyway. I started out eating good:

breakfast - low fat granola bar, fat free yogurt, cheese stick

Then I had to meet the tech guy at the Habitat office to finish hooking up our new copier and I didn't get out of my office until about 15 min later than I wanted to, ran through Subway and the line was too long. So I didn't eat lunch. Well kind of -

Ritz Chips (equivalent to 100 cal packs as far as totals)
18 carrots, 2 TBSP light dip
100 cal pack Peanut Butter Crisps (these are GREAT)
bite sized almond joy

I didn't have any other food with me and I couldn't get anywhere because I was late getting back to work. I should have planned better but I really didn't have much I could bring from home without making a huge production. We don't have a micro at the Habitat office.

So came home after leaving my office with no more food (good thing I didn't have any money or I would have hit the candy machine, maybe :) ). Dinner was...

6 ounce thin and lean New York Strip grilled
1 1/2 cup of Ore Ida Shredded Hashbrowns with very little oil and margarine (the totals on these are actually pretty good)
18 ounces of skim milk
snacked on about a total of 1 ounce of peanuts (Williamsburg ones with little salt - these are sooooooooo good) while making dinner

So, again, didn't get to do totals for today. I'm sure it's okay but I felt like it was really bad. And now dd wants to have popcorn - she is so bad!!!!! I'm can't have any, I can't have any, I can't have any (we'll see how far that gets). I felt thinner today. I could really see the definitions of my hands today. I don't ever really remember seeing the definitions of my hands, even when I was at my thinnest of 130. It's just the way my hand are made. Wedding band almost fits, which I'm just amazed at. I weigh less than I did the day I got married (by almost 20 pounds) and I still can't get my ring back on comfortably. It was comfortable when we got married. I did have carpel tunnel surgery a few years ago and the doc said there might be permanent swelling. I guess there is. I did notice tonight that I can almost get my hand around my wrists - that's a good feeling for me.

I'll try to check in tomorrow - one thing got cancelled so that will give me about 1 1/2 hours at home that I wasn't expecting but I have lots of laundry to do. We'll see if I get to check in.

Hope everyone has a great weekend - thanks for checking in. And RUSS......WAY TO GO!!!!! Nice clippie!!!!! I'm almost half way there and that actually feels good to say!!!!! :) Keep up the good work.

Keep on
Chris

Ignore this post. I think I have messed my totals up someplace but from yesterday to today my scale said I was down 2 pounds but my totals don't add up right. OMG - I'm so confused. It may take me a while to figure out these totals. I have lost 2.5 pounds since Tuesday (November 1) but there is something wrong in my totals that is confusing me. I'll get it figured out. But I'm just so confused. Sorry.

Take care everyone!
Keep on
Chris
