Taswira - It will be great if you get to meet up with Dan and Scott! Hey, maybe you guys can arrange a rendevous with Alikat too and have a mini-DIS meet! :D

I'm just posting away here, talking to myself....

Tulirich has only 7. He's tied with DopeyGal and dvcChrisVWL.

DUH!!!! is right.
and thank you Dear Dan!

BTW - You (I cannot include Scott here) have 39 posts to this thread, coming in as fifth highest poster (following Papa at 54). I have such a thrilling life!

Tulirose...checked out the chat link you provided. Have never been to a chat room, though I have friends who do so all the time and if they can do it, so can I. :D Thursday isn't good for me either..I get home from work at 5pm (8pm ET) and we try to get all our "stuff" done before Survivor comes on. We are flying to Anaheim Saturday morning, coming back Sunday night (GO Giants!!) and can join the Monday 5pm chat, if that works for you (no game Monday). I might be a little late but should be on by 5:15 PT. Let me know and I will print out all the instuctions to read on the plane. Thanks for getting this organized.

Deb :bounce: :Pinkbounc :bounce:

Rosemary glad that we were able to get in touch with you last night. Hope your dinner didn't burn while we banged our gums.

Dan and Scott and anyone else going on a cruise soon, hope that you have smooth seas and good port calls. Be sure and catch the cat juggler at mallory square in Key west to give us a report. Mike

PAGE 2!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We will check out the chat-area next week. This weekend we will celebrate our birthdays and won't be online very much.

Dan'n'Scott, Taswira and Alikat99,
enjoy WDW!! We will be at Düsseldorf on the second November-Weekend. In that area you find three major amusement parks, but guess what? They all close down for winter on the first weekend of November :( So we booked some tickets for Starlight Express, the railroad musical perfomed on Rollerskates in specially designed theatre-building. It's running for the elventh year in a row now and still a great succes. We had to pay about $150 for two seats  , but I think it will be worth it.
We drive up there to celebrate the 60th birthday of Anja's Auntie and as we still had some unused vacation days we decided to do a long weekend at the banks of the river Rhine which meanders through Düsseldorf, the Capital of Northrhine-Westfalia, one of our federal states. It's located about 150 miles Northwest of Frankfurt, a 1 1/2 to 2 hour-drive. We will also visit the Centro, Germany's largest shopping mall.

I'm here, reading everyday, every post, getting my DIS fix. But still getting over post cruise blues!:( Later, Ave'

I am also reading everyday, and like Ave I am tring to get over the "cruise blues"!
I know this year will go fast, but am having trouble getting excited about it yet. I think I need a quick trip to Disney's Resort in Hilton Head sometime after the holidays to look forward to.
I did put in my "leave request" for next year!
But with my vacation time now depleated (as well as my bank account:p ) it is a little depressing!

I just saw a $39-$99 one way trip charges to where Southwest goes and, and then I asked Mike if we could go and, and then remembered that I was afraid to fly and, and then------Wahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh I wanta go somewhere where there is sand, sun, water (preferably salty) and fresh breezes. If Art and Cathy and Rosemary and Rich and Mary and Ave were there along with a lot of our other friends, I would be sooooooooohappy.

I am here with Mike and no Katie. :( She and her mama and papa are in Texas:( visiting with the other set of grandparents.:o I have to go to work tomorrow night and I just am so blue (Post cruise syndrome) I could just kick something. There is no one here to help me slide under the table. (We eat in front of the tv in the living room) No one to open my napkin and place it gently in my lap (We use paper towels) The shower is too big and the shower curtain does not wrap around me while I am showering, the toilet flushes with a gentle gurgle not that good hard sucking sound that makes you afraid to do a courtesy flush. No one makes our bed and then no one turns it down for me to get into. There is no candy on my pillow at night and NEVER any cute towel animals at night. *SIGH*

Are we there yet??????????????..................................Kathy

We have sun, saltwater, and plenty of sand. I'll even lend you my 5 year old son for the day (no charge) LOL. Cooler weather is coming in, but still nice enough for fishing, boating, and beaching. Just let me know. :p Later, Ave'

Hi Ave,

Is that the same 5 yr old that was taking out the center of the dinner rolls and eating them and putting the hard crusts back that Dennis was eating at dinner? :p Also, is this the same 5 yr old that Mark was chasing down the stairs telling him to slow down that he was an old man and couldn't keep up?:p Lord he was cute. Chrystina was telling us about the dinner rolls and Mike, Art, Cathy and I were laughing our selves silly. That is the same day we got so burned in that sun at Castaway Cay.

I don't know, you may look up one weekend that I'm off and find us there. How are the sharks this year? Those things scared me. After Art found the sting ray in Castaway Cay and we stood around talking about thier natural enemys the sharks I got a little spooked. Someone kept telling me that there were shark nets around the swimming areas at CC.

It was so good to meet you and your family and am looking forward to the cruise next year. Gotta go for now. I went to apply for the job with Nurses for Newborns yesterday and Mike Volunteered to help too. So today we are going to go and move baby clothes around and put the winter clothes out and put the spring and summer clothes away so they can be stored in some storage vans in Columbia. Take care, Kathy

Anja & Eric ... Happy Birthday. Don't eat too much cake!

Why dosen't Disney have a place where you can get over the Post Cruise Syndrome? Having to make your own meals and do your own beds and UGH, work really is too much to take. Take me back where you have to pick the shower curtain out of your butt and the toilet scares the p..p out of you.

Good news is it's less than a year till we meet (some again) BUT it's going to be a looooooooooooooooooooooooooooong year.

Back to work ....

Eric ... Art said to say Hi to Ze German!

Hi Art and Cathy,

great to hear from you.
Just a warning: Another couple from Germany is considering to accompany us. Then you, Cathy, will feel the force of vengeance at CC :p
We're really looking forward to dining with you and CheesePlease again. Perhaps we can take over a whole section of the restaurants to accommodate the rest of the gang. Let's see what DU can arrange for us.
Today it's raining cats and dogs (Sorry, Ashley;) ) over here, summer is definitely gone now. In two weeks time I will have my snow tyres mounted.

Thanks for your birthday wishes - The next you can deliver personally in less than a year :bounce: :Pinkbounc :bounce: - Anja says Hi and Zankx, too

PS: If you want to see some black humour about us Germans you have to see "Rat Race" from the makers of "The Naked Gun" - It's kind of mean, but extremely funny.

Eric we will be there to help Cathy so that evens up the odds again.:)

The last time that I was in Germany was in 1987 when we were in Rhineburg. It was northwest of Dusseldorf about 20 or 30 kilometers the best that I can remember.

Have a nice vacation and happy birthday again to you and Anja. Mike

Mike,

that must be close to where we go as we're going to a small town north of D'dorf.

Talking about evening the odds: Did I tell you that we started taking boxing lessons last winter :p That's one of the reasons we're going to Philly before the cruise: I'd like to meet Rocky Balboa :jester:

Eric we were in an old carpet factory there in Rhineburg that took 3 days for it to get warm once they turned on the heat. This was during October so it was kind of cool:D

You may be a fast boxer, but Art and I out weigh you. We will just sit on you and pin you down:) :bounce:

Anyone have any thoughts on when to do the dis brunch at Palo's? Do we do it on Sunday when we are arriving at Key West or do we do it on Monday when we are at sea?

Guess that I had better run and take care of some chores. Check back later. Have a Mickey day as Dan says. Mike

"Same ole Rosemary"!!!! "Same OLE Rosemary" !!! WHAT'S THAT suppose to mean?!?!?! ;) :jester:

It is meant as a compliment. Someone who is remembered fondly in our thoughts. Someone with which we enjoyed spending time with and dining with. Someone else who's lifejacket sticks straight out during the lifeboat drills:)

Mike,

do you really think we will see Key West? :p
Let's just hope that we can stick to our planned route. Perhaps you have used up all the bad luck on your last cruise.
But to be honest, I would trade Key West anytime for a second day at CC. We've been to KW twice already -once on a diverted cruise instead of CC- and didn't like it very much. But we're looking forward to Grand Cayman Island and Cozumel, and we're looking even more forward to meeting you and teh rest of the gang again!!!
I don't know if we will have time for a brunch as we have to accompany Good Ole Rosie to her aerobic classes :jester: Just to make sure she gets there and works out :p
