Hi everyone!

Me and DBF are going to Disney in August and thought about going to CRT for dinner, the night we're thinking about (if it's still avalible) was 50.99 a person.

Is it really worth it?

I haven't dined at any of the table services since when I went in 2000, and at Tony's on a day trip about 5 years ago. So I figured I'd get a second opinion!

Well I only think CRT is worth if it you have young children who will really get a magical experience out of it and if you or your DBF are huge Princess fans and want to have the experience as part of your trip. Otherwise I would say it is not worth the money. I will admit it has been several years since we have dined there because our yougest (DD) is now 14. Although we will still usually do one character meal per trip, this is not our top choice. When we were there the food was fine, not bad but certainly not great. I would say not worth the money, but were we not there for the food but for the experience. Worth the money for the Princess experience with our DD, Yes! There are other good character meals that you can try, we do like the Cystal Palace very much. Again, it has been a while since our last meal there, so someone with a more recent visit could say different. If you would like it to be part of your trip, go for it. If not, then I would say to try somewhere else.

Good Luck and enjoy your trip!! :goodvibes

I'd agree with the above.

It's really only worth it for the experience, definitely not the food. Young children get the most out of it with the wishing ceremony and being in the castle.

If you want the experience of eating in the castle and/or seeing the princesses I'd say do it once and cross it off your list. If you're looking for a food experience, I'd say go elsewhere.

I went to CRT for lunch last August and would defiantly do it again.

It was actually our 10th trip to WDW and I had not been before because of all the mixed reviews. I been to Crystal Palace 3 times before and fancied a change, so decided to try it. I was really worried because we were a party of 7 (6 adults & 1 child) and I had made the decision for everyone.

I have to say it didn't disappoint. The setting is beautiful. It's fairly quiet, despite being a character meal. Everyone in my group highly enjoyed the food. We ate at Flying Fish and the Yachtsman Steakhouse house on the same trip and said CRT was easily on par. The actresses that play the Princess' really play there parts well. You do also get a photos and gratuities included in the price. We were actually on the dining package and thought it was worth the 2 credits.

Happy planning!

I agree with other posters, worth it for the experience and being able to say you ate in the castle. It is beautiful in there and the whole experience is very nice. I'm glad we did it once but will never do it again. The food was just so so and the service was slow

LOVE CRT !!!! We thought it was totally worth it. We ate breakfast and dinner there. Absolutely spectacular. there was nothing that could compare to seeing our DD4's face when she climbed the stairs and saw the inside of the castle. I will treasure it forever. Great Princess interaction and great food !!!

I can't wait to find out. I had not planned on going (made my ADRs last weekend for our November trip) but at dinner tonight my DD7 said she really wished she could see the inside of the castle. Now, she doesn't even know we're going to WDW in the fall, this was just a random comment. She asked if I thought she'd ever get to see what was inside. I told her it was a restaurant and her eyes got huge and she got very quiet. Since we will be celebrating her b-day when we are there, I decided to see if I could get a reservation for our last night, right before MVMCP. I can't believe it, but I got the exact time I wanted on the first try! She is going to be sooooooooo excited. They could serve us practically anything and it will be okay with me. I think the atmosphere will make it all worth it.

It is a "magical" experience! One that will not be forgotten. I personally love CRT ; atmosphere, food, and characters. Remember the price does include pictures with Cinderella.princess: I know at lunch you can see multiple princess, not sure at dinner though. If I were a teenager and could eat one meal at WDW it would be at CRT. Saying that I do hope you and your friend love the princess!!!princess:
