CRT with a little boy?

Will they look at us funny? My 3 year old boy (will be 4 by then) really really wants to eat in the castle on our next trip he gets so excited every time he sees the castle on tv, and his cousins have eaten there so he talks about it - I dont think he cares that its girly lol. And we will be on the DxDp the first half of trip so will have plenty of credits to use.... I know people with both boys and girls in their family must go all the time - but am wondering if we will be looked at funny going with just 1 little boy.

Go and have a great time! Noone is going to think twice about the fact that you have a son and not daughter with you. The Castle is a magical place and your son is going to have an amazing time! You shouldn't feel self-conscious at all! I"m sure this happens on a regular basis. You, your hubby, and little boy are going to greatly enjoy yourselves. I bet this will be your favorite meal of the trip and the one that your son talks about for a long time to come!

I have two boys, 4 and 7. I have resisted doing CRT because I have had the perception that it is girly too. However, as we were talking about our next trip, even my 7 year old said, "I think it would be cool to go in the castle. Plus, you're a girl, Mom, so I know you would like all the princess stuff." Now I am kind of bummed that I didn't make an ADR...I just assumed he would have no interest. My DS4 loves princesses and fairies as much as he loves pirates and race cars, so I know he would like it...he's pretty enthusiastic about everything! I would do it...the castle is just cool, whether you're a girl or a boy!!!

We went last summer with my granddaughter (3) and grandson (7). He enjoyed it as much as he did. He got his sword and stood proudly with his sister for photos. I mean, why wouldn't a boy love to have his picture taken with a beautiful princess! I know another little boy who had the breakfast with princesses in Norway and loved it.

Great decision! We brought our son along when he was 5 and 8 and he loved it both times (not so much at 13, though, he thought it was "for girls" by that time). And it's gotten even better, because now they give out wishing stars and little swords. The princesses will make a great big fuss over him, calling him a handsome prince and such! The decor in there is very masculine, actually, with heavy dark woods and jewel tones, knights' armor all around the place. Especially if he's asking for it, do not hesitate at all!

This was a great memory for my family. I have 3 boys. 16, 9 and 6. My oldest has been there done that when he was little. He refused to take the pic at the beginning...so my awesome Disney photographer....sic'd the whole princess team on him!

Never mind the young boy, I've eaten there several times as a single adult guy with no kids at all, and everyone always seems thrilled to have me as a guest. One time Mary Poppins and Belle even got into a "tiff" over my affections.

So every guest at CRT is welcomed - it's not just about little girls.

It really is sad that disney caters to little girls so much. It would be nice to have a character meal that boys can call theirs.

We ate in the Castle in 2005 for dinner, loved it. Then it was me, dh and ds1, ds2, and ds3 (7, 5, and 3 at that time). We loved it!!! Do it!!
