I kno wthat CRT is a Character Dining experience but I've heard that Dinner is a different experience. Could someone explain what happens? I heard somethign about some stars or something.:confused3

DBF and I aren't concerned with seeing Cinderella (were going to 1900 Park Faire but we're really going for the step sisters)

So who's een to CRT dinner and wants to explain to me what happens? :goodvibes :goodvibes

Thankss!

From what I understand, dinner is not a "character experience" as defined by Disney. At breakfast and lunch it is a Princess character meal, where Cinderella is greeting in the lobby and other princesses come around the room (like at Akershus). At dinner, Cinderella greets you in the lobby but there are no princesses upstairs. The Fairy Godmother and the 2 mice (don't know their names) come in and do a little "spell" but they don't come around to do greetings. Other than that quick performance, it's just dinner in the castle.

the fairy god mother comes out, it is not that exciting, unless you are a 6 year old princess

Thank you for the responses. I'm not at all concerned about the character interaction, I was just wondering what the little 'show' was.:goodvibes I appreciate your replies :)

You do get a meet & greet with Cinderella in the castle audience room (as well as nice picture that's included in your package price. They will bring the pic in a keepsake album folder to your table during the meal.) The mice maids (Perla & Sue) do come around to the tables shortly before the little show, they will pause briefly for pictures with you. The fairy godmother comes out & sings a Celebration song (about all the birthdays, anniversaries & such being celebrated.) She dances around the place but does not actually stop & visit any tables. You can get pictures of her near your table if you keep your camera ready.

We really enjoyed dinner there...good food, good service & the show is short & sweet...about 15 minutes tops, including the mice visits before.

We prefer that kind of character interaction instead of having all the hubbub throughout the whole meal.
