I just booked CRT lunch for 4 adults, 2 kids, 2 infants. Paid in full on my cc.

Just realised I didn't mention my DDE.

Should I get 20% off? The CM did not mention it. I told her I wasn't on the DDP but she did not mention DDE. Or is CRT not on DDE?

Have I just thrown away about $46???

Mandy :)

You can get 20% off the meal portion only. We didn't order the DDE until a week or two before we arrived in April. When we were there for lunch we mentioned to the server we had the DDE and was able to get a refund on the meal portion in the form of a Disney Gift Card. On 4 adults and 2 children under the age of 9 the DDE saved $27.25.

What is CRT & DDE? I don't understand the abreviations? TIA Materdawg

CRT = Cinderella's Royal Table - a restaurant at the Magic Kingdom (MK) with princess characters

DDE = Disney Dining Experience - a card available for purchase for annual passholders (APs), and Florida residents (and maybe some other groups), that gives a 20% discount at many restaurants in Disney (both food and alcohol). The cost this year was $65 for me (an AP holder).

There is a link, I believe on the tech board, with lots of frequently used abbreviations.

Welcome - I am sure you will get the lingo down soon. :hippie:

CRT - Cinderella's Royal Table. Breakfast, Lunch or Dinner in the MK Cinderella's Castle

DDE - Disney Dining Experience. You can purchase DDE if you have an Annual Pass or Florida Annual Pass. It gives you a 20% discount off most table service meals except during the holiday periods for up to 10 people in your party.
