CRT breakfast

I would attempt to get priority seating. I have asked in the past, no PS, no seating. Sigh. I just hope that eating at CRT is not the be all, end all of WDW eating experiences. You can always eat at the Crystal Palace, if you don't get at PS at CRT. Good Luck!

However, if you don't want breakfast, you can usually get into the castle pretty easily. The breakfast is a character meal.

You'll never get a seating just walking up to the podium for the same day. You can start checking every day for the next day.

Cancellations do happen because they take a deposit and if you don't show they keep the deposit. They require (I think) 24 hours notice or maybe 48. So slots open during that time.

CRT is NOT the end all, be all. It may not even be the best character meal at WDW. It *is* nice though, if you can afford it / get a res:)

MAybe the dinner at 1900 park fare (GF) is also a good op to meet the fair cinderella while eating?

The Princess breakfast at Epcot was awesome from the setting to the organization and the food was pretty good too. I can't imagine that the CRT would be any better, but I also don't have any personal experience to compare it with. I was very impressed on how quickly we were in and out. My experience at the Crystal Palace was horrible, with over an hour wait after the PS time and long waits for the characters. Maybe it helped that at the princess breakfast, they brought the food to us where at the Crystal Palace it was a buffet. I missed some characters while getting food there. But at the princess breakfast we showed up early, were immediatley seated, saw all the princesses in short order and ate till we were full in about 45 minutes, maybe less. A good use of park time!!!

My point is, if you miss the CRT, try the Princess breakfast at Epcot. Eat at the castle for lunch another day.

You won't get in without a PS, sorry. Keep calling and calling and hoping for a cancellation, persistence often pays off.

That being said, I don't think it's as big of a deal as made out to be, we LOVED the PSB in Norways, it's alot more relaxed as well. So don't be disappointed if you don't get it in the end...

That's not always true! We were there in Jan. and had stopped by the castle to look at the lunch menu around 10 AM (we had eaten breakfast at our resort). The CM at the hostess stand asked if there was anything she could do for us, and when we told her we were just checking out the lunch menu, she said, "Well, I do have a table available right now if you're interested in breakfast!" My jaw hit the floor and I said to her, "People knock themselves out to get PS's for this meal, and you're just offering one to us?" She grinned real big and said, "Yup!" We didn't take it since we had already eaten and didn't want to spend $20 a person for food that wouldn't really be touched. Plus, we had been at the Princess breakfast at Epcot earlier in the week, so my DD had already had her Princess fix, but it was a hard decision to make! Now granted, it was Jan. which is a slow time, but if you want to eat there, and no one in your family will be devastated if you can't, try walking up and asking! You might get lucky, especially if crowds are small!
