Ok, my wife and I have just created a dilema for ourselves. Well, maybe I created the dilema.

On January 2nd, the original plan was to go to CRT for breakfast and to LTT for dinner that same day and then watch Wishes. Now, I have suggested that we do the Castle for lunch and 1900 Park Fare for dinner and then come back to the park for Wishes.

The reason I have suggested this, is that I have read on many posts, that the whole CRT dining experience is rather rushed and the character interaction is also rushed. I have also heard, on more than one occassion, that the typical breakfast fare at CRT is not that great BUT, that the buffet at 1900 is very very good.

We have been promising my DD3, for over a year, that we are going to WDW and eat at "Cinderella's House". So, we will definitely eat at the Castle. I just think it will be less rushed, we will have better character interaction and better food for the money if we go with "Plan B".

The only possible kink in "Plan B" is ensuring we get back to the MK for the fireworks. MK is tentatively scheduled to close at 7:00pm on January 2nd, according to the DIS park hours page. Not sure about the crowds on January 2nd.

Any inputs would be greatly appreciated. Tomorrow is the 90 day point.

Have Fun,

since you are taking a princess w/you, i would definitely eat breakfast at the castle. LTT would be a nice meal and you all would be in the park for wishes. that is what we would do.

DEFINITELY do breakfast at the castle! what's the sense of being in a princess' house if there's no princess in the house, kwim? plus, we had breakfast there in august and were not made to feel rushed *at all!* it was a fabulous breakfast... wonderfully fun... great character (princesses mostly... but when did mary poppins become a "princess?" she's a NANNY! LOL!) interaction... awesome setting... but it just would not be the same w/out the princesses (imo lunch or dinner are just overpriced meals in a royal setting w/out the royalty) and as enjoyable as the meal was, we had a great time w/fairy godmother in the lobby waiting for our name to be called, again after our meal, and walked out of the restaurant just in time for belle to be doing story hour on the back steps of the castle... *perfect* ending to a perfect meal!

ENJOY!

Do CRT! It's too precious!

And don't forget to phone tomorrow morning right at 6:58 A.M.!

Good Luck! Hope you get the PS!

Thanks for everyone's help. We have decided and are going with "Plan A". "Plan B" will be for backup purposes only.

We have studied the CRT PS tips here on these boards and we will be calling WDW Dine @ 0658. I will let you know how we did.

Have Fun,

If you can't get into CRT, then 1900 Park Fare would still be great - it's just that it will be hard to get back to see Wishes unless you have a really early PS time - I think dinner starts after a certain time, so this might not even work out for you.

We are not even trying for a breakfast at CRT, but have opted for dinner at 1900 Park Fare, as it is the only princess type character dinner available.

Sending pixie dust your way!!!

No Problems at all getting a CRT PS. I think my daughter will be VERY HAPPY.

I think DH and I are the only ones who actually like the FOOD at CRT...To Each his own I guess...

Have a great time. CRT is very special...

Glad to hear you got the PS!

Your DD will definately enjoy it!

Also, just read here recently that when you are downstairs waiting for meet Godmother, look up and you will see mice looking down at you!

We will be there day before!

my kids saw the mice... i would have missed them... but they pointed them out! i believe it's jasper and gus... the other mice (perla and ???) are often out and about thru the parks, but these guys in the castle are tiny shelf-sitters!
