What does everyone think of the "Actual" wait times as posted on both EasyWDW and DisneyWaitTimes.com?

I've been watching them since Sunday evening and my impression is it doesn't seem like this week is very busy, IF those actual wait times are correct.

I'm here now and we went to HS yesterday. Elsa/Anna Sing Along was cancelled, TSM was down, and Fantasmic was cancelled. (Those were the three thing I had FP for, LOL). I thought it was VERY busy there. We saw the stunt show, the Indiana Jones show, BATB, and Star Tours. Pouring rain and park was still busy -- to me!

Hoping for better luck tomorrow at MK.

We just got back last night so I can only speak for Sunday, but MK was recommended on EasyWDW and the "4" prediction felt fairly accurate to us. A&E and 7DMT had sizeable waits, but we were able to get on almost everything else in less than 25 minutes.

We have been here since last week and it hasn't been bad at all. Anyone Saying it has is either new or not yet experienced enough to make that judgement. Wait times are slightly below average for this time of the year. Times payed on MDE app are exact.

The only thing above normal is the amount of BTG'a this time of the year. Feels like the whole country came here this week. lol

I've been watching too. I was surprised by yesterday's times at MK, and checked today on TP and saw they said it was a 1?? Crazy....Hope we have this luck when we go!

I agree. We were in WDW from the 8-17th and didn't find it nearly as crowded as I've seen other posters saying it was. We had a couple of 8/9 days thrown in the mix and were still able to easily navigate and get on what we wanted.

I take it then that the "Actual" wait times I'm seeing on both web sites are pretty accurate?

For instance, right now at 2pm:

SM: 27 min
BTMR: 29 min
7DMT: 39 min
ToT: 27 min
RnRC: 16 min
TSMM: 85 min
Soarin: 62 min
TT: 24 min

Guess I'm new or not experienced enough to speak. Just giving my opinion! :goodvibes

From my experience over the last 10 days, everything sounds accurate. On Sunday we had a BTMR FP+ at 1:45pm and the stand-by was 25 minutes. We spent 3 days at DHS and ~90 minutes is accurate for TSMM, ~20 for RnRC and ToT. We had 2.5 Epcot days and again, Soarin' was right around 60 minutes and TT tottered between 25-45 depending on the time of day. The only one that seems a bit off is 7DMT as waits were anywhere from 50-90 minutes and seemingly accurate based on family members who waited in stand-by.

We have been here since the 8th and everywhere we have been it has been crowded. However, the longest wait we experienced was 30 minutes for a ride.

I'm here now and it's the busiest I think I've ever seen it. Even more than my last summer trip.

Why would they close the sing along? That would be such a sad event for my girls if that happened to them!

Yes I'm curious about this too? Why was the sing a long cancelled?? We are going this week so hope it's on the rest of the week!!

Crowds were much higher than usual. We just got back today :( and we had a wonderful trip but MK was crazy, except for MVMCP on the 16th... It was the highlight of my trip and it was nice to do everything 6 times in a row with no waits at all! The 15th was a madhouse and not enjoyable at all. The party was so great... it actually was nice to walk from land to land with open space around you instead of dodging people and strollers everywhere.

Yesterday we went to DHS and I checked the app wait times before we went. Man were they wrong. I even closed out the app and reopened it so theybwould update and it was way off. It said 10-20 for everything and 40 minutes for TSM, so of course I thought wow this might be great to go and do everything! Um no! We get there and ToT was 50mins and the app still said 20mins. And everything was also long waits. It was very crowded. It rained last night so Epcot was actually nice and quiet in the rain!

I was pretty much using the disney wait times.com site exclusively for checking wait times while we were there Nov 7-11th. Overall, I'd say the "actual" waits were pretty accurate, within +/- 5 mins, outside of surge times (like RD and after parades and such). I wouldn't trust them at surge times, though.

Oh, one other thing I will say...the park definitely felt crowded, just by looking around, but it really wasn't overly reflected in the lines for the attractions. We didn't wait more than 15-20 mins for most everything (waited 30-35 for maybe 2-3 attractions), and we didn't end up using the 4th FP+ and beyond pretty much at all. We scheduled a 4th one night, but changed our plans to watch the castle lighting before leaving b/c of the party instead.

If I were just going based on how crowded the park felt/looked, I would have expected more 30-40 min waits than we had.

Quite uncalled for. The people giving these judgments seem to have as many visits to WDW as you do and they are giving their opinions, just as you are.

I have been following the TP Lines app the last couple of weeks and it appears the wait lines have increased this week but they are still saying the overall park levels are only in the 3-4 range. Only 27 days before we get to stand in line so hopefully waits will begin to trend down again.

It wasn't a personal attack. Been here during this time for more than 20 years and the parks are not that crowded. Unfortunately you think I was attacking when I wasn't. So trying to defend someone who I wasn't attacking at all makes you look sillier. Next time just dont post and/or MYob if not providing anything of use. Btw, I'm still here and it's not crowded at all. The party on the 13th was ok but the rest of the warm days was average at best. You want to see crowded, come in summer or during a holiday and then you'll definitely change your mind about crowe levels. :hippie:
