Crowds last week in May

I just read on another post that the crowds are fairly light throughout May... Does this include Memorial Day Weekend and Week? This is when we have our next trip planned. I would like to plan it for a really off season time but group family scheduling makes it difficult. I just weathered the X-Mas crowds at WDW (very sucessfully, I might add due, to advanced planning and assistance from these boards) It would be nice if my next trip could be more serene but after handling the crowds I saw pouring through the gates last week I know I can pretty much handle anything.

I'd like to know also. We arrive a couple of days after you. I know DH and I went one year and it didn't seem too bad (compared to Thanksgiving week). Hopefully even though it's Memorial Day week, crowds are less than mid-June. That's when crowds and heat have been at their worst in all our trips.

My experience has been that it is crowded.. and very hot.. I have gone the past few years at that time... probably not as crowded as Christmas or Easter.. but crowded on the weekend..

We went in May once and it was crowded. We made sure and got to the park before opening and that helped somewhat. We had a blast!
