Hi...
We're arriving at MCO on July 10 and staying till the 18th. I know July is really busy, but is that week going to be unbearably so? We stayed at WL in July, 2003, and found it okay; however, I realize that was a slow year at the parks. Does anyone know if it'll be a whole lot worse this year than we found it then? Thanks.

Welcome to the DIS!

It will be very crowded that week. Not as bad as the week before, but you'll have plenty of company!

Hi Tam1067!! :wave2:

I'm interested in the answer also! Dsis, Dniece and I are all heading to WDW for July 7 - 14 and have never experienced the July crowds or :sunny: heat, but we're ready...just do and see what we can and hit the pools! Who knows? Maybe we'll cross paths in the sweltering heat! :wave2:

We went last July 13-20. I think if you are going to go in July, the time immediately following the July 4th holiday is the best time to go. You bet it will be crowded and hot, but we did fantastic by getting to the parks early and using Fastpass at every opportunity. Waited in ONE long line the whole eight days, and that was because we had to get to the airport, and thus would not have been in the parks at our Fastpass time. So we bit the bullet and waited in that one line, one time.

Will the crowds be anywhere near as thick as the Magic Kingdom during the week of Christmas ? :woohoo:

A bit thicker, usually. BUT it's also a lot more bearable because it'll be much cooler and the atmosphere in the park is generally more festive and pleasant.
