Crowds early to mid January?

Ok so I know this past Christmas season, DLR extended their Holiday stuff all the way to Jan. 8th or so. Does anyone know how that impacted crowd levels for those days following New Years?

I know there are a lot of things that factor in this year with CL and now knowing yet the dates of the Holiday Season at DLR. My DD has Winter Break all the way through January 11th 2013, and we're trying to figure out if we should squeeze in a trip the week of Jan. 7th and how the crowds will be.

The way the calendar falls the Holiday Season will probably go to Sunday the 6th. After the first crowds drop, from insane to just busy. If you are there when it's insane, just busy feels great. On the 7th it will be quiet the crowds will be gone. If you want to see all the seasonal decorations you may want to start your trip on the weekend of the 5th and 6th. Enjoy the Holiday parade and Fireworks then enjoy no crowds on the weekdays after.
