Crowds Early March???

DD off two days the first week in March and I was thinking a long weekend in Disney would be fun???? Have never been at that time??? It that peak season and would it be crazy???? I did not think spring break officially started till April???

Has anyone been the first week in March and how was it???

Most Spring Breaks are later in the month. We did a trip c. March 4-8, 2000 and found it to be a good time to go. Warm weather, modest crowds, etc. We did have a few long waits at Splash Mountain, although we were newbies and hadn't figured out the Fast Pass system yet, so part of the blame is ours. Our kids were too little for SM, TT, etc., however, so I can't really say how those lines were.
