Hello all. I will be in CA for a few weeks and was wondering how the crowds are at Disneyland during weekends, as well as Superbowl Sunday? Thanks for your help.

don't know about Superbowl, but today (Sunday) the park was pretty quiet until about 11 and then started filling up (of course, today was a spectacular day weather-wise--in the mid-70's). When I left about 1:30 the lines were starting to get pretty long; otherwise I rode the train 1 1/2 times around and at one point was one of three people on the train and rode IASW twice with no wait. Had a fastpass for Buzz and took about 15 min. for Star Tours. 15-20 min for Storybook Land Canal boats--that's about all I did today ( got to park around 8:40 for a 9 a.m. opening--security lines were LONG)

Weekend crowds are pretty bad, because a lot of locals and people from drivable distances descend on the parks. HOWEVER, as the previous poster said, if you get there early (before opening time), you'll notice the crowds are pretty thin. People don't get up and get going until 10 or 11.

We went once for Superbowl weekend, because the kids had that Friday off of school for teacher meetings and we figured it wouldn't be very crowded. Wrong! Suffice it to say, I was surprised at how many people DON'T watch the Superbowl!

We went last year on Superbowl Sunday and I must say it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. We went this past summer as well and it was way more busy than Superbowl Sunday. The park was pretty slow early on in the day then mid afternoon it got busier and the evening was busy. Anyways I would chance it if it is one of the few days you can go. I guess it's also weather dependent as well.

I went last Superbowl weekend and it was amazingly dead... One of the slowest non-raining Sundays I've seen to be honest so I'm not sure if I'm going to same parks as the other posters...
