Looking for a good "day by day", "park by park" crowd level calendar for May 2022.
Any suggestions? I kinda remember "Dad's WDW guide" used to have a great one but now doesn't not show much detail.
Thanks in advance.

I like the one Undercover Tourist has on their website. It’s free as well. I will say that I think there are too many anomalies for the crowd calendars to really account for right now.

The data from the last few years would be really messed up from all the irregularities, shutdowns, and then revenge travel surges. On top of that there is no year over year data for for Genie+. I think they all do their best but I’m adjusting my expectations for accuracy because of all the weirdness.

Unfortunately, I don't think any crowd calendars are going to be accurate at all. Covid changed everything. The entire months of January and February have been busy, when in the past you could walk onto every ride with no wait.

I think you can read the bloggers' crowd calendar guesses, but that's really all they are at this point. Complete guesses based on their own speculation. I certainly wouldn't pay for any of them.

I wouldn’t bother with a crowd calendar. Just assume it will be crowded. If it’s not you’ll be pleasantly surprised
Seems pretty accurate.
If the crowd calendar says the day will be less crowded, just wait until 2 weeks before and it will change.

Agree with this. Pick the dates that work best for you, assume (and plans) it will be crowded, and have fun

I am guessing May will be very crowded. (We've been in late May a couple times.) Proceed accordingly.

I would advise against Memorial Day weekend. That's when we are going pirate: going to be mighty crowded :jester: (my family likes the extra day of holiday weekends to get back early and decompress. I always say I will never book a holiday weekend again. This is the last time!)

I think this is a good way to figure out what the crowd level will be like, look at the price of tickets for the date you are interested in. If the price is high ($141) then expect crowds, if the price is low ($117) then low crowds. These prices are directly from Disney based on tickets already purchased so should reflect crowd expectations. Right?

I purchased Touring Plans too. It was just a little over $10 (I own the 2022 guidebook), so I figured it was worth it. We're going in the middle of May.

We are going again starting May 1. Hoping for not that crowded. In the past, this week has been awesome for lower crowd levels. Guess we will find out!
I would never go later than this in May, especially Memorial Day.
