This looks interesting and food we like. Has anyone done it? It says it takes the dining plan. Also, does anyone know if that would include the Sunday Gospel brunch, or is that different and not take the dining plan. Any info. on this restaurant would be appreciated. Thanks.

I see you haven't gotten any replies, & thought I'd post to bump your thread, if nothing else. We haven't been to the Sunday Gospel brunch. All the reviews I've read have been positive, but it isn't mentioned here often. I would be surprised, if it's on the dining plan. If it is, I'm sure it would be 2 credits. No one has mentioned it being added to this year's DDP that I've seen. We don't use a dining plan, so I only go by what I read here.

We used to really like HOB. It was probably our favorite DTD restaurant. I say was, because the menu & head chef have changed. We haven't been since the change, so I don't know how it is now. We really liked the cornbread, but I read it has changed. Hopefully, someone will come along who has eaten there recently. I'm pretty sure the restaurant has been added to DDP this year. Someone will correct me if I'm wrong.

PS: Just in case you didn't realize it, HOB isn't at the Crossroads. It's at Downtown Disney. You may want to edit the Crossroads reference out of your title. That may be confusing some people, which could result in less feedback.

we ate at House of Blues a couple of weeks ago (8:00 PM dinner on a Saturday night) Food was good...what I'd call good bar food: burgers, ribs, etc. We enjoyed it. People have said it used to have a much bigger menu...we thought it was a pretty small menu (just 2 pages including everything)

The Drinks (adult beverages) were mixed strong. Service was fine. We were not on the dining plan for that meal, but we did use Tables in Wonderland card for the discount though. Waiter did mention that dining plan was acceptable if we had it. They do not allow dining plan for the Sunday Brunch: that was mentioned when I originally made our reservation.

Would recommend reservations, though...and when you get there, go inside to the inside check-in podium if you have reservations. There was a long, long, long line outside waiting to be seated--they were telling people at least 60 min wait unless they wanted to sit outside, and it was cold night so no one wanted to. But people with reservations went right in, checked in, and were seated within 10 minutes.

Dining plan is not accepted for the Gospel Brunch, just for the regular restaurant.

"Crossroads" is the name of the new menu at House of Blues, developed with celebrity chef Aaron Sanchez. It is not a reference to the Crossroads shopping center.

(This link refers to Disneyland, but the menu applies to all House of Blues locations, including Orlando.)

Thanks for clearing that up for me. I didn't realize they had a named menu.

thanks all for the info. Am giving it consideration as just a good place to eat at. (Not going to go for the Sunday brunch) --- but like the idea for an evening meal and out in DTD area.
