Crocs Sandals/Flipflops

I decided to try Croc flip flops this year because I love my beaches and mary janes. I got a pair of Athens and they are so comfortable that I'm definitely bringing them for our upcoming trip in August.

I have both the Athens and Capris and love them!!!!! Ya they are a bit expensive but I just feel its for your feet and comfort so its pricelesss.

You already have 1 pair of crocs and you want to buy at least 2 more pairs??? Boy, you must have one understanding husband!

Ha ha ha... you were soooo obvious! ;)

How about the Adara style? They have straps that criss cross in the front? Anyone like those in the parks? I 'm leaning toward them....

ETA Actually its the sporty adara I like, I didn't realize there were different kinds, but I'm not sure because there isn't anything to make your feet stay put...

Also, on Crocs website there are Mickey Athens style! I loooove those, but there is only one color there-has anyone seen these???

I have a pair of the Athens flip flops and they really hurt my feet in between my toes-I couldn't wear them for a long day walking!

I had to take the Athens flip flops back as well, the large plastic thing between the toes was WAY too uncomforable.

I love the Capri Flip Flops, those are much better!!

But for all day in the parks (we go in December, hence the name DisneyNDecember) we wear the Crocs Beach style (the most common one) with 2 additional items--- a brand new pair of all cotton socks & BodyGlide & these 3 items together make the BEST combination for all day wear. At the end of the day, our feet do not hurt at all, our legs feel great, & the next morning, you can not even tell that we had been walking on our feet!!!
:santa: :santa: :santa:

I love the Athens flip flops for the parks - most comfortable shoes EVER! :lovestruc
I just went online & bought a grey pair & a white pair so I hope they are as comfy as a few of you said. I usually wear old navy flip flops but a whole day at Hershey in them & my legs were killing me. No support.

I wear them without socks and have never had any problems. I love my black ones..they look really cute and a bit dressier for those evening dinners when I wear my black capris and nice top.

I am wearing out my 2nd pair of Athens. I also can't usually wear flip flops because the thing bothers my between my toes. Both pair of Athen I got kind of rubbed so i took an emery board and filed the edges and VIOLA, they are super comfy and I can't even tell there is a strap there.

I also have the flip flop tan on my feet. When I am not working, they are the only shoes I wear. I enen wore them to Blizzard Beach.

After reading and re-reading this thread y'all have convinced me to get a pair of crocs for DW. :thumbsup2 I went to Dick's Sporting tonight to try some on, and I THINK I like the Mary Janes best, but I've got a sizing ? for y'all. (There weren't any sales people around, and I wasn't going to buy any anyways- way cuter colors online! ;) ) My toes just barely touched the inside of the shoe in the 6, but in the 7, the heel strap wasn't really touching the back of my heel. So all you Croc experts, what do you think? The 7s?? :confused3

I'd probably go with the 7s. I think they're going to irritate you if you get the size 6 since your toes touch, which they really aren't supposed to do. The heel strap doesn't really have to touch your heel. It will do its job when you're walking. You're better off having some room than having your toes touch.

I was also one that said never to crocs. But on our trip last year to Disney, my dh bought some crocs because his feet had been hurting after a couple of days. No more complaints from him the rest of the trip on his feet hurting. So I gave in and bought a pair of Cleo's. I love them! I also now own a pair of Capri and Malinda's.

Sounds like I made a good choice then. I did buy a similar pair at Walmart for $7 & they are very comfy but the only colors they had were bright blue or hot pink.

I second the Keens. I love my Crocs but not for all day and especially all day walking. The keens support your foot better, dry quickly and are non slip. I love mine.
