Crocs - I can't believe Im about to give in.....

I can't believe I'm posting a question about Crocs..

I have a problem with them: they're too narrow.

I got a pair of knock-offs at PayLess and they fit wonderfully. Unfortunately, I've just about walked through them now and need a new pair before I go back to WDW. PayLess doesn't seem to have them any more. A few months ago my DW got me a pair of real Crocs. She got Caymans, and they're just too narrow. They give me blisters where they rub the sides of my feet. The length is right, if a little long (my feet are roughly spherical). I haven't been able to find them in stores, but are the Beach Crocs any wider? I don't want to buy them from the website if they're going to be just as narrow, and have been to EVERY retailer within reasonable distance and no one has them.

Its hard to say because Caymans are in whole sizes where Beaches are S,M,L,XL and each one is like 2 sizes. My Beaches that are 10-11 are smaller than my new Caymans that are 11.

I too gave in, today actually, and orderd a pair of crocs. Last year at Disney I thought they were the ugliest things I had ever seen. I couldn't beleive how many people were wearing them. And I thought they looked especially funny on all the boys and men (clog style). Well two weeks ago I tried on the Athens in Belk. They were sooo comfortable. I didn't buy them there because they didn't have all the fun colors and I felt the Athens were too big looking. I ordered the Ithica for myself and decided to order the Scutes for my mother for mother's day. I hope she likes them. I also added a whole bunch of stuff to my wishlist since practically everything I clicked on was sold out. I actually sat and wondered which Diser had beaten me to the styles and colors I wanted! LOL! They'll be here in 10 days. Can't wait!

10 days:eek: ? Did you order them custom made:) ? Dick's, Tilly's, and Shoebuy can usually have them to you in 2-4 days. I hate getting excited about something like that then having to wait.

I just received my Cleo's yesterday. They came very fast, I ordered them 4 days ago! Free Shipping to boot from the Crocs site.
They are very comfortable, it's almost like no shoes at all they are so lightweight. For those that think Crocs are too wide try Cleo's. I have a regular width foot and I had to stretch the straps slightly . They are not tight but I like the straps a little loose. The only thing I am having to get used to is how low across the foot the lower strap is, right across the start of my toes, not uncomfortable just different that what I usually wear. I am thinking about ordering a pair of the Patras since they seem a little further back on the foot and see which I like better. The Patras also come in more 'netural' colors. The fit my foot lenght perfectly, I wear a 9 and these fit great. The nubs felt weird at first but already my feet are used to them.
I will be taking them to WDW along with my Birks and see how it goes.

Order! If you don't like them then return them.

Bev

If not the ballet flats, possibly the flip flops? Even though they are kinda odd looking, maybe I could make the flip flops work if they are like the most comfortable flip flops ever made.

They are the most comfortable flip flops, or sandals, I have ever put on my feet. I bought a pair Friday and have worn them every day since. The heel is double cushioned and "bouncy" feeling, there is so much support! They don't feel anything like croc Caymans and the footbed is made differently. I still prefer my Airwalk knock-offs for a clog-type shoe, but these new flip flops are the bomb!

I did give in to the crocs after I swore they were so ugly I would never wear them:lmao: they are the best pair of shoes I have and they are walking with me to WDW in late may. But be careful with the shrinking thing: my best friend left hers in the car and now they don't fit. They shrunk too much!!!!::sad2: Good for me::yay: she gave them to me

I have a question about these crocs,
When you wear the ones that have holes in them or if you wear the ones with mickey's on them, do you get tan lines from it?

Does anyone know of a store that sells the Disney ones? I only can find them online and DD wanted them before we went to Disney next week.

One of our local boating stores sells them here in Savannah.

does anyone wear the crocs scutes or cleos? I prefer the look of them compared to the caymans. But are they comfortable enought to wear around the parks?

I probably win the "Stupidest question about Crocs" award, but if they have to be so loose that they dont touch your feet, dont your feet keep slipping out of them? I think I would like a pair, but I cant even wear sandles or flip-flops cos they fall off my feat too often, and am worried crocs would be the same. Maybe I just walk wierd.

Dillards has the pink, black, red and blue ones. I bought a pair for my dd this weekend in pink. So excited to find them there since i get my discount on them. My DH got a pair of the caymans yesterday and i am trying to decide what kind i want to get. I may get a pair for our disney trip and a pair of the MJ's to wear for work since i am having some issues with my knees aching

I bought croc cleos for my first pair and wore them for 1 week in disney. It was truly like waling in my bare feet and they didn't ever slip off. This was the one and only trip when I didn't return with a backache or sore feet:cool1:

My daughter-in-law had me try hers on the other day, and they were very comfortable. She bought hers in a discount store we have here in the northeast called Ocean State Job Lot. I was just wondering if anyone has compared the cheaper ones to the originals and do they notice the difference. I haven't bought any yet but am leaning towards getting some for summer.

I'm a R.N. with really bad feet and I love my Crocs.I can work all day and my legs don't hurt at the end of a long, long day. They may not be the most attractive shoe, but comfort-wise,THEY ARE GREAT!!!!!!:yay: :yay: :yay:
