Crocs Flip Flops!!!

The only time I plan on wearing socks with my CROCS is when we go in Dec. IF the weather is cool and I'm wearing jeans. Lots of people wear them with socks, but it make an ugly shoe even worse. I wore mine at WDW and NEVER had any problems with them. I never wore socks and even when it rained one day and they were wet they still didn't rub wrong. So, no to socks. You don't need them. I really only notice my feet sweating occasionally and oddly enough it wasn't while walking around WDW and we went in Sept. :confused3

A word of warning if wearing them in the rain...I was at WDW for a friend's birthday 1 1/2 weeks ago and it poured out. The bottom of her crocs were worn out and she slipped and fell several times walking along! She got some nasty bruises and a very pulled muscle!

Got my CROCS flip flops yesterday. I've been wearing them all day and I LOVE them! If I wear regular flip flops my feet KILL me. I can't even go barefoot anymore since I mysteriously hurt my foot a couple of weeks ago. I love my CROCS flip flops, but I think I like my regular CROCS better. :teeth:

Saw the Nile in person this weekend - changed my mind - it's NOT cuter than the original. (in my opinion anyway). I got the Cayman style - loving them so far -

it's cold cold cold here, so I've been wearing them with socks - even in the house. Ran out Saturday night and when I was driving, I thought it felt like I was wearing slippers! Had to stop and think what I had on my feet! SOOOO comfortable!!!

I did try them without socks this morning and I'm not sure I like the textured foot-bed - it may grow on me though.

I love flip flops, which is really funny because for years I couldn't stand anything between my toes. It drove me crazy. About two summers ago, I said what the heck and purchased a pair of regular flip flops. I've been wearing them every since.

I'm trusing you guys on this one. The regular crocs, were just too ugly for me. I think I might be able to wear the Niles but I'm sold on the flip flops. I love that they have all the different color combinations. I have to match...big pet peeve of mine. My new color is chocolate brown, so can anyone guess which ones I'll order first? :teeth:

Oh! I LOVE my new CROC flip-flops. The first day I wore them they rub me a little between my toes, but after that no more. I think they are more comfy than my caymans or beach ones. I wear them everyday around the house!

I love the athens flip flops, at least the way they look. MommyPoppins, I have a question. Could someone with wide feet wear them comfortably? I have a regular pair of Wal-Mart knock offs in pink, but I'm thinking of getting the flip flops for our upcoming Disney trip.

Thanks for the help! pixiedust:

I bought a pair of the athens online and they are very comfy but i'm thinking I may have bought the wrong size...I wear a 9 normally so that's what size I got but it looks like my feet are swimming in them...do they run big??

The smallest size they have listed on the web-site is 8/9 for kids. I found the payless knock-off's in as small as a size 5.
I am confused about kids shoe sizes in general. :teeth: What age would the 8/9 fit? I have boys 4 and 5yr olds. They wear a 11-12 kids. Would they be a 11-12 on the CROCS site or are those gonna be a bigger/older kid 11/12 ?
For kids, they match the child's shoe size. My dd wears a size 10 toddler shoe...I bought her the size toddler size 10/11 crocs and they seem to fit just fine. Remember, they are supposed to be a bit big..so they may look like they are too big, but they will be fine.

My girls are 3 and they both have a pair of beach crocs and they love them!!!

I have the Niles and I really like them but I take the strap off because it is just too bulky. I do like the athens though and ordered the chocloate and lime.

I noticed that they have Croc socks on the OP's site listed. I wonder if these are for the Crocs or just general socks made by them?

My dh thinks they are the most hideous things ever! (He says that about all my shoes, though.)

Did anyone see Faith Hill and Tim McGraw on Oprah last week? It showed them out shopping, and Faith picked up a pair of yellow Beach style and said "oh, I love these things!" :thumbsup2

Well I guess it depends on how wide your feet are. :confused3 My feet are wide compared to my pre kid feet. But I'm sure others have wider feet than me. I wear a 7 1/2 and bought a size 7 Athens. They look big, but they fit big like the regular CROCS. They don't barely touch my foot anywhere, except of course the bottoms. :thumbsup2 They certainly aren't a narrow shoe, so I'd bet you'd be okay. :goodvibes

I repeat, they are not as comfortable as regular CROCS. I wore mine to MK this past Sat. and DH wore his. Both our feet hurt after a while. But when I switched back to my Beach CROCS, they didn't hurt anymore. (my feet) So DH will be getting a pair of the uglys. ;)

I have the beach, size medium. Love them. I want to get the Niles, but I'm unsure how they fit. I don't know if I should order size 7 or 8. Most stores here only have Beach, so I can't try the Niles on before I buy. Any suggestions?

At our house we have Aspens, Athens, Niles, Beach, Caymen, Metro and Professional - and there are only 3 of us! We love them. Our 7 year old daughter is quite the fashionista and she wears a pair just about everywhere. My husband adores his Professionals. Right now my Niles are my favorite but I've only been able to wear them around the house this week as its cooooooooold again!

I got a pair of the Athens to wear on our cruise--got the same size as my other crocs and they seem big to me too.

Any way to shrink them? It seems weird that they don't touch your feet. I'm wondering how they will stay on.

Ok, I must just be extra tired tonight - I saw the title of this thread and thought to myself, "Cric Croc Flips? What the heck are those?" And this from me, a major Crocs lover! :rotfl2:

I cant find any info. about the sizing for the flip flops. Does anyone know if they run big and I should order a size smaller?

I bought mine in my regular size. They looked wide to me when I got them but feel great and I could not have worn them any shorter. I think lenghtwise they are pretty close to normal sizing.
