My boyfriend and I are headed to Disney World in October for the first time. We're staying at the Beach Club Resort from the 13th-22nd. I'm one of those crazy planners. Take a look at our first day and let me know what you think. I know we have two ADRs at strange times, but we both work shift work and are used to eating big meals late at night. From our experience at Disneyland last summer, we always got really hungry at the end of the day and wished we had had supper later. So hopefully it works out for us! Anywho...

Tuesday, October 14
Between 9am-10am ~ Head to Hollywood Studios. We'll try to make rope drop, but we're getting in at midnight the night before, so, we'll see.

Attractions we want to hit while there:
- Toy Story Mania! (FP+)
- Tower of Terror (FP+)
- Star Tours (FP+)
- Rock n' Roller Coaster
- Great Movie Ride
- Disney Animation to draw a picture
- Walk through One Man's Dream and the AFI Showcase

(Will we have enough time to do all this in the morning?)

1:00pm ~ Watch Beauty & the Beast--Live on Stage

1:50pm ~ Lunch Reservations at Sci-Fi Dine-In Theatre

After lunch head back to the hotel to relax, maybe swim, nap and change for the evening.

Around 6:00pm ~ Head to the Magic Kingdom for the evening.
Ride any attractions we can.
Hope to hit Big Thunder first since it was closed at Disneyland last year. We'll try to use as many additional FP+s we can in the evening, but mostly we'll just tour at our own leisure.

Around 9:00pm ~ Head to the Polynesian Resort for our 9:45pm ADR at 'Ohana.

Not sure what time we'll finish up there, but hopefully we'll be back at our resort around midnight/12:30am.

From what I've been reading in regards to my own planning I'd say if you hope to get all that done in the morning then you need to be there for RD. Apparently TSSM gets up to 60+ minutes on standby within a half hour of opening.

Ditto - but if you're not dead set on doing all of those, especially if you'd be willing to drop TSMM from your wish list it looks do-able. I'll see you there! I plan to be at DHS on Oct 14 as well ;)

I was at DHS for the first SWW this year and my day went something like this:

1. Arrived, hit TSMM
2. Star Tours (FP)
3. ToT (FP)
4. RnR (FP)
5. Back lot tour
6. Met Mike and Scully
7. Star Tours (FP)
8. Great Movie Ride
9. Lunch at 50s Primetime (ADR for 12:30)
10. Muppet Vision 3D
11. ToT (FP)
12. Star Tours (FP)
13. Did some shopping at Darths Mall
14. Queued up for various Star Wars characters
15. ToT (FP)
16. Dinner at H&V (ADR for 6pm)

I rode TSMM at Disneyland a few times when we were there last summer and I just loved it so much. But if I have to give it up, I have to give it up :(... haha... It's not the only day we'll be doing Hollywood Studios anyways, so I can always try for a FP later on in the week and try for a Rock N' Roller coaster FP instead.
Do you think there will be any Fastpasses for TSMM available for this day by the time my 60 day window opens up?

I booked TSMM FP for my August trip when my 60 day window opened last Sunday.

At SWW there were TSMM FPs available when I went to the kiosk to book my 4th one. I think they were for around 5pm.

Also I think I actually did RnR after meeting Mike and Scully

Ok! Awesome! That's very promising as I'm sure HS was packed for SWWs!

Why are people suggesting that OP give up TSMM? She already said that they were going to FP+ the ride.

OP,
Keep your FP+ for TSMM. We have never spent more than 10 minutes in line (even that was rare) for the ride if we had FP+. I do think you will be challenged to complete everything before your plan for Beauty and the Beast though. Not to mention that you want to see the 1 PM show and your lunch is 50 minutes later. The show itself is 40ish minutes as I understand it (we have never been able to carve out time for it) and you may be pushing it to make it to your ADR.

Yes, I was wondering why people weren't noticing the FP+ as well...

The Disney website says Beauty and the Beast is only 25 minutes long. I was hesitating about the 1pm showing too because the Sci-Fi is a bit of a walk from the auditorium. Does the show usually run late?

And how long do you think it will take to go through One Man's Dream? I think I'm going to really enjoy this exhibit and will probably take a lot of pictures...

Show does not run late. 25 min seems about right. You should be fine.
