Hi all....
I'm THIS close to getting an Expression and a whole bunch of cartridges (I'm going to be selling my SUV to get a more economical vehicle and the extra money that is left, I guess will belong to Cricut!!!!) :cool1: I was on another website that sells Cricut stuff and I put EVERYTHING that I wanted in the "shopping cart" just to see how much the total would be....UMMMM $1700...:faint: :scared1: Now I believe that was with the Expression that comes with 2 carts, the Design Studio and all the other carts that I want. :thumbsup2 I know that is a lot of coin and I know I won't buy all of it at once from the website (I don't like to wait for them to ship to me) :rotfl:

So I was wondering what type of selection ACMoore, Michael's and JoAnn's have on carts? Would I be able to get a good variety? Or would it be better to order from a website and have to wait till it gets in? LOL The website that I was looking at had ALOT of things on backorder.

So where do you get your carts?

Well, I have a strong aversion to paying full price for cartridges, so I'd either wait for a sale at a craft store or order online from a place that sells the carts in the $40-$60 range. I've had good luck with sales at creativexpress.com, and my BFF has had good luck with customcrops.com.

If you get the bundle from ACMoore that comes with 4 cartridges they should keep you busy while you wait for the rest of your carts:).

AC Moore and Michael's have a fine selection of cartridges. The only ones you won't find there (yet) are the ones that were previously QVC exclusives(Doodletype, Cuttin Up). For now you have to get those online, but I'm sure eventually the stores will have them. The stores will have most of the rest - including the Disney ones.

I strongly suggest getting the Expression from ACM when it goes on sale, because as Kim said it comes with 4 carts instead of the usual 2. They go on sale pretty regularly. ACM also has the paper doll cartridge bundle that comes with 4 carts.

For online stores I've gotten good deals at Custom Crops and Creative Express. There's also Ebay, but it seems other people are luckier than I am with getting good deals there.

I've never paid full price for any Cricut item. I wait for sales at ACM. You can use a coupon on Design Studio at ACM becuase it doesn't say anything on the coupon about software it just says no to machines and carts. NEVER pay full price for a Cricut item, you can get them on line at a bunch of place for good deals. I've used Memorymiser.com and customcrops.com I've been happy with both of them. Good luck

The latest ACM coupon I got now excludes Cricut software, too. I guess they caught on to what a great deal it would be:(.

Oh that's a bummer :sad2: , I used a coupon on mine. The woman didn't want to let me but I said it doesn't say software. She said she would let me use it this time but not again. :rotfl2: once I bought the softward I didn't need to buy it again.

I have also gotten some carts on sale at hallmarkscrapbook.com, they are very fast on delivery too!

This may be a big bad thing but I have bought a couple of carts off ebay. They have been in sealed packages and shipped quickly. I got them for an average of $35 to $40 with about $5 shipping and handling.
