This afternoon I was playing the Airlock Escape game and, when I got to Level 15, I got in a hurry and got sloppy and forgot to put the baloons in front of the incinerators by the exit. Cursing myself, I sat back to watch my little dude stroll toward inevitable doom.
However, I was surprised by what happened when he stepped on the incinerator. Flames shot up (Yes, seen that before). Smoke (seen it). His little body became a charcoal briquet (yep, expected) ... and the briquet looked exactly like the Mickey profile silhouette!! Wait a minute! Never seen that before. He holds the shape for all of about a second or two before collapsing into a heap of ash. I went back and stepped on incinerators on several levels just to be sure I hadn't made this up.
As best as I can determine, this happens whenever you step on the incinerators while coming from the southwest or southeast sides of the grid. If you approach them from the north, you're still toast but there is no Mickey.
Admittedly, it is kind of creepy seeing Mickey get torched. But if you're a Hidden Mickey fanatic, check it out.
