Is this something new? I just called for a ressie on 8/1 (not a holiday) and they asked for a credit card to hold it and requested 2 day cancelation notice or they'll charge $10 pp. When did they start doing this? I thought they only did this for Cindy.

I believe this is a fairly recent change, but Disney does now require a credit card guarantee. If you cancel more than 48 hours in advance, you are not charged.
