The childminder idea would be worth looking into. Even if you don't do it all day you could perhaps do the school run in the mornings and after school care, always seems to be a big demand for this. I know there is a lot of paperwork to be registered though. Perhaps you can offer a music class to the children in your care, or help older ones practise their instuments?

Its not a lot of money but ive made a few hundred pounds on dooyoo.

You basically write reviews for things (food, baby products, hotels etc)And for every review thats over about 300 words you get 500 points. Once you get to a certain number you can cash the points in for Amazon vouchers or when you get a large amount a £50 cheque :).

I have been using it since Megan was born as i found i had the odd 20 minutes spare here and there so it was ideal for me to get a little bit of extra cash!

That is such a fab idea:thumbsup2

Have you thought about playing for weddings?
I also play flute and sing, and my friend had a wedding at a local Hotel a couple of weeks ago. She asked me to play, and so the person from the hotel asked if she could take my number if any-one else was interested in me doing the same.

You could drop in to local hotels that also do wedding's and leave your details with them or maybe drop off a tape.

I think this is a great idea - a similar thing happened to myself and a friend.

I play clarinet, and a friend plays violin, and a couple of years ago, a teacher in our old secondary school asked to play in the reception of a hotel that there was some sort of local teacher conference going on in. At the end of the night, one of the hotel workers asked for our numbers, and we were used in a couple of other conferences and weddings etc. A nice way to make a bit of money if you ask me - doing something you enjoy :goodvibes It's a shame we had to stop as we went to different unis.

OP: I really hope you manage to figure something out

As well as looking at ways to 'Make' money - look at ways to SAVE.

We applied for one of those home energy meters - aside from the shock you get when you put the kettle on and see it go into over drive it makes a HUGE difference - as you become aware of what you are using.

First day we got it - we plugged it in and i showed we were running at 13p and hour - and we had just come home so thought nothing was on....
After walking round the house and finding chargers charging nothing, 3 televisions & 2 amps on standby, computer monitor & speakers too we turned these all off and it dropped to 6p an hour (fridge, skybox & aquariumd left on).

It did not take a genius to work out that saving 6p and hour assuming sleep and everyone at work/school 18 hours a day 5 times a week would save us over £6-week - in actuall fact - by being aware of our wastage we dropped our electric bill from £100 a month to £ 60!!!!:scared1:
