Creative Memories to Redesign Scrapbook Line. . .

OMG, that is hysterical!!! Thanks for the laugh!

I really like CM products (used to be a CMC) and I am really excited that they are going to a true 12x12. I do need some 7x7 page protectors, probably should get those soon...[/QUOTE]

I needed some 7x7 protectors as well and tried Ebay:rolleyes: Huge bidding war!! $30 later for 4 packages:rolleyes1 But I really needed them:rolleyes1 .

I'll have to hold off doing my April Disney trip til they come out - there's NO scrap stuff in DLP. It makes the UK look cutting edge for scrapping :lmao:

They are still available and will be for a while. $5 each plus tax and ship from a CMC.

Just look up a CMC's website. You can get it right now at the correct price. They are telling people to finish their current projects to make way for new designs. I have a load of the old 12X12 pages that I am going to have to decide whether or not I need to send them back to the company or just buy another old-style album (or 3) to finish up those pages.

I re-activated this week when I saw how much the govt would take me for dismantling my home business. :scared: THank goodness after I deactivated, I was still making albums for people.

It looks like they have a lavendar and tan album in the works, but the production has been delayed for them. They will probably redesign a whole bunch of the old line, but at the same time bring in alot of new stuff. They are, of course, continuing with their paper lines and making them 12X12, but this may go the wayside eventually just like the CM decorative scissors and die cuts.

The official line here is they are all going on a year-long retirement so should be around until March 2009. If yours run out sooner I'm happy to get them for you but you won't like the rpices over here:rotfl2: Even $30 for 4 on e-bay is cheaper:scared1:

My CMC told me I would be able to order the current sizes for up to 1 year and that they will probably be available for another 6 months after that. CM is trying to wean people out of the old sizes so they are giving them time to finish current projects. I'm for sure going to need at least two more albums plus pages to complete my 2006 DL and 2005 WDW trips but I am so buying a 12x12 for 2007 and beyond.

Have I mentioned how happy I am that I don't have to trim every page!

:thumbsup2 As a CMC, I have 2 show albums that have only CM products. But, most of my albums have non CM products in them. (I know, shame on me, I'm a big, fat, hypocrit). I hate trimming every non-cm page to fit and I am excited about the new line. I have 5 current projects to finish, 4 to start, and 18 packages of the old not really a 12x12 12x12 pages. I'm telling my customers who have come to me over the past 2-3 days to order pages off of my website. Most cmcs have a website, just search the main website for a nearby consultant and order from their site. I wish I had some 7X7 pages so I can finish those projects. too. I'll have to order some at the end of the month.

I'm excited--like I said, I expect CM to discontinue printing a lot of paper before long. The thing I really miss from them is their pre-cut short cuts. I wish they'd go back to them. It was really easy to make borders!

So, do we think the side-loading will be like the Picfolio Max? I had all forgotten about that album--it's one I really just skipped over.

We don't get Picfolio Max over here - am I missing something good?;)

Since it is not yet exapandable, I don't think you are missing anything. They are supposedly working on making the picfolio line exapandable. We'll see.

The quick kits for family 8x8 was cute, just stinks that you can't add pages.

Word on the block is that the old 7x7 and 12x12 will be avail for about 18mo's. That way hopefully it will be a smoothe transition. The true 12x12's are as wide again as the jeeping. The blue album is pretty, it's not like our navy or our saphire. And I really like the new papers.Seems like cm is really stepping out of the box.:woohoo:

had that same experience... and it was a long time ago too and I've never dealt with them again. hence my "dark side scrapper" tag. The cmc was just horrible, yelling at us that our pictures would be destroyed if we used anything else, etc, etc. (and of course, being me, that really set me off... I think I asked her when I could expect my scrapbook to explode due to the high acid levels :) needless to say, she doesn't speak to me anymore. :) and I don't use there products. :) maggie

That is too funny! :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

I remember going to Tupperware parties were the consultant trashed Rubbermaid and said if you used anything but Tupperware dangerous chemicals would leech into your food!
