Crazy nuts weather...

So I'm sitting here, it's 79 degrees and humid, running the air conditioning (that's a year-round thing in Texas), and the guy on television is telling me that it's supposed to get down to 31 tonight.

That's almost a 50 degree drop!! How the heck do you dress for a day like that? I don't think my body can acclimate to that much change so quickly. I might have to see if I remember how to build a fire tonight.

Oh, and we're also under a tornado watch.

It is 65 up here in MI. We are having a thunderstorm right now but tomarrow it's supposed to be freezing rain changing to snow!

Just got a message from a friend in Texas...they're under a tornado watch too!

Yeah, by the time I leave work around 9pm tonight it'll be freezing! I've been warm all day.

I just worry about the crazy traffic during rush hour. I have a long day but DH gets off at 6pm.

Not sure how far south into Texas you guys are.......but it's headed your way.

I live in Oklahoma......when I came to work this morning at 7:30 a.m., it was 65 degrees. Now, at 3:00 p.m., it is 36 degrees.

It is 76 degrees here today. Last Wednesday the high was 49. I hate this crazy weather. I just want it to cool off and stay cooled off until April or May.

Boy, that's for sure! Right now we're at 83 degrees (at almost 5 pm)-we've been the hot spot in the nation a few days lately. And tomorrow nite we're supposed to get down to the 30s. I'd hate to be a citrus farmer tomorrow!

It's already much colder, it's dropped about 30degrees this evening.

The girls are hoping for a snow day tomorrow, if we get the weather promised I'm sure they'll get their wish but it wouldn't be the first time they've been wrong.

Looks like this weather is everywhere. We were up to 67 today (that is a heatwave for us this time of year). In the next 24 hrs we are dropping into the upper 20's-low 30's and we're supposed to get hit w/ snow too (which is more normal this time of year). Let me tell you though, my sinuses cannot take the up and down of the temps much more.

Hope you don't get a tornado! But, I can't feel too badly for people who find 30 degrees (as a low!) in November remarkable. Y'all are pretty well blessed, and I'm wicked jealous.

How to dress for goofy weather? Layers!!! Peel 'em off as you go (much like a stripper!) and then pile them back on (much like an eskimo.)

I grew up in NE Montana, I know what real cold is and I don't visit there in the winter. We are blessed, I'll take the 100+ summer over the -40 winters anyday.

well it was almost 70 here today. tomorrow we're supposed to have thunderstorms, it's supposed to be about 65. and then after tomorrow we drop down to the 30's

It's really raining good and cold right now. I know that the Frisco schools are too stubborn to close but if it ices over, I'll keep DS home anyhow. I remember last year when it iced up and I slipped and slid to get the kid to school. Not this time!

crazy wild winds here! trees blew over and everything. I hope it calms down by the morning...Yahoo! tells me that the high was 64 and low is 34...

Yep, it has been some crazy weather day! At 3:20 this afternoon it was 81 degrees as I left the WalMart parking lot. I drove across the road to the high school to wait for my son and by the time he came out about 10 minutes later, it was down to 54 degrees!

I just went outside to check the current state of things and my patio is completely iced over. Looks like we get a day of baking cookies and watching Christmas movies!

If you look at a a weather map it is all sitting over the whole state of Missouri. Lovely......just in time for me to drive home from work in an hour and a half.
