Selena, hugs on the cruise. I will cross my fingers that it all works out. I know how you must be feeling because we all look forward to each trip! Mac and 16, yikes. She grew up fast!

Marcie, you are another one that doesn't have an extra ounce to lose. You skinny minnies crack me up! I have 17 pounds to lose. SEVENTEEN!

Well it is 18 months away but the whole reason we did it so early was I would have time to make payments and have it paid for by final payment. Plus it was a ship the kids are interested in and the price was great. It also worked out that we would not have to be out of school or work for more than a couple of days, plus it is driveable. Thanks for the hugs. I knew I could vent with you guys!

I thought you looked just great Sandy in all of the pictures of the cruise.

Marcie, now 5 lbs make a huge difference on a same frame. I did break down and buy some pants tonight but they were very cheap and look good. Yes it is a size larger than I like but they are juniors so I can deal with that. lol

I told Heidi that the pictures don't do it justice. It is such a "sparkly" dress. Man, when your daughter tells you she feels like a "Princess", it melts your heart. Wow, what a cozy feeling.

lol My posts have been mainly in fall colors. I was trying to be festive. lol

We had our flu shots today. Since the kids had the flu last year, MacKenzie was adamant she would not go thru that again and wanted the shot. Erik was not so sure and had to be told he was getting it. I had to do the same with Jeff!! Since they all were like little lambs to the slaughter I took them to Wendy's for dinner. LOL Yes I am a big spender!! BUT since I am WW again I can eat there and be ok. lol

We went through the flu issue with the girls back in grade school. They missed a lot of school. We have never missed a year for flu shots since then. I always thought of the flu as "stomach". Not like the flu that it is. We get our shot Nov 1 this year. We used to rope Heidi into going and then it was a lunch out afterwards. Now she runs the flu shot clinic at work. LOL

My boss usually pays for all of us to get a flu shot from the doctor next door. He doesn't want anyone calling in sick for that long. Works for me.

Thanks for all the compliments on my dress. I will post pictures of me in the dress if we remember the camera on Friday!!!

I hate any kind of shots, I am absolutely terrified of needles. I thought once I was out of my parents house I would never get a flu shot again, but my sister threatened me that I couldn't see my niece and nephew if I didn't get the flu shot, so get it every year. And why do I have to run the flu shot clinic at work when I am terrified of needles???!!! Oh ya, because I am too nice.

My arm is so sore from the shot. I always forget how sore it gets afterwards. lol

Yes Heidi you need that shot but I do agree it is awful for you to run the clinic! lol I hate needles too but I remember they only hurt for a moment. Poor E was so scared. You could see it on him.

Oh I have to tell you what he said last night. I cracked up on this statement. MacKenzie is a freshman and is now "going out with" a football player. (going out is so funny because she is only 14 she is not going out anywhere with anyone until she is 16!) Anyways, I was putting E to bed and he said I hate MacKenzie is "going out with" a football player. I asked why and he said..."because it is going to be harder to beat a football player up when he hurts my sister." Remember he is only 12 and in 7th grade!!!

OK I am suppose to be dieting and I was not good tonight. I had a beer, one iece of Jeff's Queso and two fried pickles. Well actually it was more like 2 beers. I talked the cute waiter into a freebie. lol He was smart, he got a great tip for doing it! lol

Counting down to the Great American Beer Festival tonight (although, according to my ticker, it has already started) and trying to get out from under all of these purses.

I took Tuesday off because I need to get a crown, so I had the first appointment with the dentist and now have the temporary. I also went to the optometrist and will be getting a new pair of glasses (the pair I'm wearing is two years old and a little beat up). I'm taking off next Thursday for Alex's 11th birthday (he has off from school because of conferences) but will have the permanent crown done first thing in the morning and I'm hoping my glasses will be ready by then, too.

I had some free time; Tammy and I had lunch at Panera. I also spent some time looking at guitars at a shop hidden over by Red & Jerry's. And I got to watch the end of Finding Nemo while Alex was in seeing his dentist after school.

Sandy and Heidi, did y'all go look at more wedding dresses yesterday?

Yes and we bought the one!!!! I love it so much!!! I even tried on more dresses, but still came back to this one.

Here are a few pictures we took yesterday.

Here is a picture of my mom and my best friend trying on 2 bridesmaid dresses that we really liked. The one my mom is modeling would be what my sister where's and the brown one would be what the 2 other Bridesmaids would wear. Of course they would be the same color!!!
