Cranberry or Pineapple?? Part 2

Tammy just found a big bottle of pomegranate juice at Costco, if you are interested in making these. I've discovered that the cranberry Sierra Mist is great with Southern Comfort. It reminded me of Sierra Mist mixed with cranberry juice, which isn't consumed in our house unless it is also mixed with Southern Comfort.

Jrsy where was the promeganate jucie found at Costco? I need to go buy some because I have already used that tiny bottle I found at the grocery store.

I have not been able to find the cranberry Sierra Mist. I have Southern Comfort in my cabinet. lol I cleaned out that cabinet the other night. For some unknown reason I had to bottles of Absoult opened. I poured the tiny amount into the other bottle. I also finished off the Citrus Vodka I had.

I need help finding recipes for Rapsberry VOdka. Jeff bought some and we are not too thrilled with the taste. I also have some Baracdi Limon I am not thrilled with. HELP!!!

Good morning everyone! How was your weekend?

On Saturday I got a Christmas card from my Grandmother and she put a picture of my Dad in there that was taken about 2 months before he went in the hospital. So, I was going to scan it as soon as I could because I would die if anything happened to the picture. I want to try to blow it up to 5x7 and frame it with our other family pictures. Anyway, after my computer had crashed awhile back I hadn't loaded everything back on my computer and my software to scan wasn't on it. So, I was all frustrated and finally Dane says to me that he is going to go ahead and give me, my present that day because I really needed it. He got me a brand new media center computer!!! I was so excited. It has a DVD burner and media program on it that makes picture slideshows, makes movies, and will even record tv shows like a TIVO. You can watch live tv and pause it right on the computer. The sad part is my Dad always loved to make movies and when I was growing up he was continuously recording home movies and movies onto VCR tapes. His dream job would have been to be in the film industry in the making of films. Well about a year before he died he was asking me all about DVD burners and stuff, so he could start making movies on computer. They just weren't out enough then, way too expensive and he would have had trouble figuring it out. Now, I have what would have been my Dad's dream media center!! I do a lot with music and I am going to love that!!! I already put a lot of my music on it over the weekend. (I still haven't scanned the picture yet but I will very soon). I can't wait to record Grey's Anatomy.

I went grocery shopping and got all of my stuff to bake this week. That's what I will be doing in the evenings and I am on vacation Thursday & Friday.

I wasn't there, so I can't tell you. I would guess in the juice aisle, not in the refrigerated section. It wasn't POM Wonderful, but another brand. Also, be careful that you buy pomegranate juice not pomegranate juice cocktail, which is a mixture of juices.

I posted a huge, long message and it got deleted somehow! Grr.

I wanted to thank Selena for the beautiful ornament. I completely love it. It is a matte satin red glass ball with Sorcerer Mickey on the top - with little red jewels, silver swirls and silver stars! It goes great with my tree ornaments - all Polish blown glass and Disney and Hallmark from years past. And it reminds me of my times working in WDW at Fantasmic! Yay!

I am completely overhwhelmed with work but I am finally happy! I will summarize to say that I cried every day last week. I am embarrassed to say I even cried at a meeting at work, and then again that night at Curves. School is unreasonably demanding and I will just say that the owner of the Curves at which I work is losing it. It's a shame the way she's treating us. I love the members. I love my coworkers and I even love the other owner, even though she's a little tough. The other one judges situations without all the info and treats people like they're not human. The things she's said to us, including the other owner, are disgraceful. I am realizing that I am going to have to quit anyway, in order to go back to grad school, which I plan to start this summer or this fall.

I spent last week feeling lost and upset. Now I feel a lot more organized and I am happy at the idea of going to grad school, even though it will be a huge financial struggle. I am looking at a program in Reading and Literacy with Certificationto be a K-12 Reading Specialist.

I will post more later, but I am studying for the MAT and am getting excited.

I just tasted a yummy cookie. My friend took chocolate chip cookie dough, made cookies and as soon as she took them out of the oven she put a half of an andes mint on top and let it melt. Then she put the in the refrigerator over night to harden. They were so good. I am adding that to my baking list.

Yeah the one I bought was juice not the cocktail and it was found in the refrigerated section. Will you ask your wife for me Jrsy? I do not want to go and look and look and never find it. lol Various Costcos also carry different items. I have a friend that buys perdue chicken in Washington but I can not find it here in NC.

Lulu I am so glad you liked it. I was at a loss at what to get you. I actually bought you another ornament but just did not feel it. You know what I mean? It just did not say your name. lol I still have it at home and I think I am going to give it to the lead secretary here at school.

Yea I can't believe it either. What a year. The bad news is, it's almost time for 3 1/2 months of Overtime. But, the good news is, it's almost time for personal & vacation days to start over, not to mention Overtime pay.

We really haven't made up our minds, we also talked about going to NYC, Aerial really wants to go and Dane's brother lives there. We also talked about Vegas. So I don't know, I guess we are up for anything still.

Sandy, yes, it is an HP. I can look and see which one when I get home. I thought about you and wondered, since you said it had all kinds of stuff on it. It's going to take me a while to figure it all out, I'm going to be so busy with holidays then tax season, but, hopefully I can take a little time each evening.

Hi guys. I am feeling a little better. I started to get sick on Friday, but by Saturday I was not feeling very well and then on Sunday and Monday I had the full blown stomach flu. I have a really bad headache but I know it is from being dehydrated and I just need to get liquids in me. I am trying to make it though work today because I am so tired of laying around the house. I can keep things down again so thats always a good sign.

Marcie - that is so sweet of Dane. Definitely sounds like the one my parents got.

She said it was just in the juice aisle. The brand name is Langers and the bottle is rectangle rather than round.
