Lulu...there is a sandwich at Jimmy John's (which unfortunately doesn't have a location in NJ) called the Lulu Club. You know you are famous when they name a sandwich after you. Now, I just need to know what exactly you are famous for. If it was a Heidi sandwich, I could take a guess. I can poke as much fun at her as I want because I doubt she will go back and read everything posted in her absence. Ahhh, who am I kidding, she won't want to feel like she's missing out on anything, so she'll read them all...right, Heidi?

lol- I'll just bump it up for her. ;)

You'll have to ask my sorority sisters what I'm famous for, and my old nicknames, as I'm sworn to secrecy. :rolleyes1

(and I"m pretty boring now that I'm back in my hometown being a teacher and all)

Currently the weather in my town is http://www.findlocalweather.com/forecast/nj/bayonne.html

At the time of writing the humidity is 49% and 90* so the heat index is 94. At least there's a breeze, though.

I also want to know what those goody powders are?

I'm inside waiting for some Avon clients to call. I have three deliveries to make today.

I am almost all packed now. I just need to finish getting the toiletries together. I have been trying to pick up around the house too, but it has been hard cause the dog has been under my feet all day. Poor little guy (okay poor big guy), he is my 65 lbs lap dog. :teeth: The kids are still at daycare. I think I am going to pick them up in about an hour. They both still have a few things of theirs to pack.

Everyone have a great week!!!!!!!!

 Bye Cristi!!! I wouldn't have to say goodbye if you would fit me in your suitcase. Guess I will drive over and see if you are still there. :teeth: Anyway, have a terrific time and try not to get too :sunny: much sun.

Jrsy, come on. Do you really think that Heidi won't read what is posted over the weekend?

Lulu, you have my curiosity. I would love to talk to your sorority sisters!! Give me a name, so I can look them up. :teeth: :rotfl2:

Ok, Selena, you got me too. What is :confused3 goody powders?

Got the computer back early. Getting messages left and right about allow this, block that, etc. I don't know anything about computers. It is driving me crazy. We have to try and figure out how to get Norton Anti Virus back again. It is paid for but we don't have any back up CD's for it and when they refigured the computer we lost all programs. I got AOL up and running at least. I couldn't go too long without getting my fix here! :thumbsup2

I am headed out of here until Sunday. Have a good weekend everyone.

Jrsy this is good powders. It is the only thing I can take that helps me when I start to get a mirgraine. They are not really good for your stomach but it works. Thank goodness I do not get them often. But they are wonderful to take when you have drank too much. Just pour a glass of water and down it with a powder.

Sorry Sandy I just finsihed reading up and see you did not know what they are either. It is a Southern thing but you can purchase them anywhere. But for some reason only us Southerners from the East Coast seem to know about them.

Atlantic City was fun but I am not a gambler. I was able to find the Harley store and buy Jeff a shirt. I would have like to walk the Boardwalk but we were not there long and did not get to do this.

http://www.goodyspowder.com/story_timeline.aspx

Goody’s Headache Powders were formulated by a Winston-Salem pharmacist, Martin “Goody” Goodman, in 1932. At that time, almost every pharmacist had their own headache formula. Goody’s became a leader in the highly competitive field thanks to the marketing genius of A. Thad Lewallen, Sr., who purchased the Goody’s formula and trademark in 1936. Lewallen’s marketing strategy was based on his belief that “the best form of advertising is sampling”. He knew that headache powders had been used by factory workers for years to relieve their headaches. To create loyal customers, he and his family would faithfully hand out samples of Goody’s to southern factory workers at shift changes. This created a dedicated following and soon demand outstripped production. In 1941, a modernized production facility and an increased sales force, using the same sampling techniques, went to work introducing Goody’s Headache Powders throughout the Southeast.

As the product had become known throughout the South for its legendary speed of relief, Goody’s took the logical step of becoming one of the first non-automotive sponsors of NASCAR in 1977. This led to Richard Petty, the undisputed “King” of NASCAR, becoming the company’s official spokesperson and Goody’s becoming the Official Pain Reliever of NASCAR.

In recent years, we’ve introduced new Body Pain Formula as well as Goody’s PM and thousands of people have discovered that Goody’s isn’t just for fast relief of headaches anymore.

The legend of Goody’s Powders has continued to grow over the years and today, you can get Goody’s even if you’re stuck in Seattle, right here on our Online Goody’s Store.

 Bye Cristi have a great vacation. :wave2:

Well I made it back from Vegas (barely). I am struggling today. I got home at about 1:00am and woke up at 5:00 for work. Our plane was a little delayed because of the weather in Denver. :confused3 When we finally touched down it looked okay, but I guess there was a lot of lightning. I had the time of my life and definitely lived up the Vegas experience. I think we slept about a total of 8 hours in the 3 days we were there. We have so many funny stories, one story that is hilarious was that we had a gay guy get us drunk by buying us drinks constantly and then inviting us as his dates to a wedding he was attending. We spent about 7 1/2 hours at the pool that day drinking miami vices...heat plus liquor equals a quick buzz!!!! My friend got very sick and when she was throwing up she hit her head on the faucet and it left a bruise on her forehead in the shape of the faucet. :lmao: :rotfl2: It was great, we laughed about it so hard yesterday.. The VIP tickets worked like a charm at the Clubs. Vegas has some great clubs, but were packed so that not the highlight of my trip. Probably the highlight of my trip was hanging out the the gay guy (travis) and his brother, his wife and a few of their friends. I felt so sorry for the guy that had to sit next to me on the plane, Taura and I were so exhausted that we had the giggles and were laughing at everything. She even told him her story about the faucet shaped bruise on her head. We all had a good plane trip and laughed many many times. We made many friends and met some very friendly people and never had to buy a drink or touch our luggage.

There are many more stories but I think I have rambled on enough for today. I won't bore you with anymore of my stories!!!!

That is actually why "what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas." Poor Chris. I am still hearing stories about DW's trip. They're not nearly as interesting when you didn't get to be there. Welcome back anyway; glad you had fun. (<= that's not meant to be taken as snotty as it sounds.)

We had a pretty intense storm in the area around 8pm, so it may have still been lingering around the airport by the time you were trying to get home.

Last night I found out that the internet company that I bought my magnet paper from sent all my private info including my credit card number to a person in her shipment. I only found out because SHE contacted me. I still don't have my shipment and now they aren't answering their phone. That person is worried that HER info was shipped to a different person. She used paypal. I called the bank at 10:30 PM last night and they closed my credit card account and are issuing me a new card. I went to the bank today and they stopped payment to this company. What a horrible feeling. I don't know how many other people got my info. Hopefully just the one. I was soooooo fortunate that she contacted me.

I thought last night that after work I would go home and take a nap or go to bed early because I was so tired. Instead my BIL and sister took me around looking at stuff in garages of model homes. I loved doing that!!! My BIL works for Continental Homes and they had a huge employee sale where they sell everything in their model homes for cheap. I got some pictures, plants, 2 twin mattresses and 2 box springs, a beautiful white dresser with flowers painted on all for $30. They are the greatest for letting me tag a long.

Are you and Chris going for the Lucy & Ricky bedroom setup?
:lmao: I could only wish, hope and dream that would happen (but seperate bedrooms on seperate floors) and then I would be able to get some sleep with his obnoxious snoring. Oh well I am starting to get use to his snoring and not stay awake so much anymore.

Hello, hello, hello....anyone there?

Gee with Cristi and Marcie gone, it got quiet around here!!!!

Just missed ya! I had my wisdom tooth pulled yesterday, so I'm pretty quiet here, too. ;)

Ouch LuLu, that sounds very painful. I remember getting my wisdom teeth out and it hurt for a week. Hope you are doing okay.

Hi everyone. I am home. Trying to get ready for work on Tuesday. We worked really hard getting the house cleaned today.

Where did Cristi go? I missed that.

Woo Hoo Jeff just made us reservations for a trip to Charleston for my birthday. I am so excited.

My signature was looking grime. Now I only have 22 days to my next trip. :cool1:

Here is the Inn we are staying at. If you do some research he booked the romance package and then added a day. We will be away for 3 days all alone.
