Hmmm....I am not sure then. My DH is the CL person. Changing the title should have worked.

Maybe someone else can give you better advice.

The weird part is this one person won't stop...keeps writing back telling me to give her my paypal address? She/he has TONS of typo's in her correspondence and her name is Mavis Beacon - isn't that a typing tutor

I frequently write LOL but have not literally laughed out loud. I actually burst out in laughter about that.

Craigslist is designed to keep people from "bumping" their ads back to the top. I've foind you need to change the wording of your ad CONSIDERABLY to get it to post again...or you can delete your old post and wait 24 hours to post it again.

We jsut sold DH's car on CL for $700 (it was a bit of any eyesore/clunker, but a nice high school kid needed his first car and DH's is IDEAL for that). We also just sold TODAY, our used (and broken) 4-wheeler. Engine seized, but we listed it as such and somebody wants it for parts. Voila!

Have also bought and sold horses and tack, furniture, an excercise bike and a few other things. Have to REALLY watch out for the loonies who want your stuff for a song and a dance. The scammers are easy to spot and even easier to ignore. The idgits are tougher, but I've learned how to tell the difference between a tire-kicking looky loo and a legit buyer.

FWIW...if the e-mail is poorly written or littered with typos, i skip it. I also skip anything that is not signed with a name and local phone number (in the replies I get).
