CR view/concierge questions

Hey all! DH and I are thinking about booking at CR for our (now annual) Christmas trip in early December '08. We got home a week ago from our first one and are in LOVE with this time of year at WDW!

So...here's the question. We LOVE staying concierge but is an MK view in concierge only a request? However, we could choose to get a guaranteed MK view but NOT concierge?

Can somebody clarify???

Don't sell the Bay lake view short! It's spectacular! We actually requested this view. We got our "MK fill" from the Concierge lounge on the 14th floor (where we watched Wishes nearly every night.)

When you make a reservation for the CR tower they will ask if you want a MK or Bay Lake view. MK views generally cost a little more than a lake view. We had a MK view at the CR Atrium club last dec and loved it.

Yes to both questions. No guarantee on the Atrium club level, I think it's a 50/50 chance. The lounge does overlook the MK though. If you book a standard room in the tower, you can pay a little more to guarantee the MK view.

You will have a 50/50 chance at getting the Magic Kingdom view on the 12th floor, however if you don't there is nothing wrong with the Bay Lake view and like Tammi said the lounge does look over the Magic Kingdom. However if having a guaranteed Magic Kingdom view is important, then maybe you should not stay on the Atrium Club.
