CR to Boardwalk

I'll be staying at the CR and want to go to the Boardwalk. What's the best way to get there?

I will have a car - will I be able to park there?

Hi Kahpets, and welcome!

A car would be the fastest way by far. Otherwise, you could walk to the MK and take the BW bus. Another option is to take the bus from the CR to the Studios and walk or take the boat from the Studios to the BW. Both WDW transportation options will take you at least 30 minutes, possibly as much as an hour.

Depending on how full BWI is, the guard may let you park in the regular parking lot, or he may tell you to park at the auxiliary parking lot (which is across the street).

Walk to MK and take a bus to the BWI or the Swan/Dolphin, whichever bus comes first.

Driving would be the quickest way to get from the Contemporay to the Boardwalk. As others have said, you could also walk to the MK and take a bus from there, but that only works during hours when the MK is open.

If you want to take Disney transportation after the theme parks close, you would have to transfer at Downtown Disney.

When I'm not staying at an Epcot area resort, I usually plan on going to the Boardwalk on an Epcot day. When I'm ready to head to the Boardwalk, I walk out the International Gateway between France and the United Kingdom, and walk over to the Boardwalk.
