So we leave for Pop in about 4 1/2 weeks and today in the mail we got a packet with really nice luggage tags, 100 Free Arcade Tokens, Free Mini Golf, and a ton of other coupons. I wasn't expecting this. Does everyone get this? We are staying for a week with the Free Dining Package with Tickets? This was a very nice surprise!!!

That is the normal package for guests staying onsite. Did you get the yellow DME tags? If you are useing DME they are the tags they use to know where to bring your bags. Of course this is only if you are flying.

The souvenir luggage tags (are they still the 3D ones with the fab 5?) that come with the Mickey Mail are the kind that hold your name and contact info. They aren't the yellow ME tags.

Also, the Mickey Mail is not sent to all onsite guests. Only to those with a vacation package.

Does anyone know if this option is available for international travellers as well? what a great little package to received :-)

Well, I'm from Canada and i have my coveted Mickey Mail stuck in my Disney Planning bag so I can only assume that you'll get one too (but then again i know what my daughter says when i "assume " :rotfl2: )

The coupons are not bad. I think a lot of people have trouble finding time to use them so they don't get much talk here on the Dis.

Remember the 100 token thing at the arcade is pretty much good for 1-2 games if I recall correctly. On our last big trip, we spent 2 full days at Disney Quest and my son still insisted on spending some of his money at a resort arcade. The 100 token thing went towards that. On previous trips, we have let him spend the 100 tokens and then walk out. He was never happy to leave but taking him to the free arcade in Innoventions helped.

The coupon for Planet Hollywood worked out well for us. I had met up with another Dis'er at WDW and he wasn't planning on using his coupon so gave it to me. I was able to use both coupons at Planet Hollywood at the same time. We ended up taking the kids there for a light meal. The 2 coupons were enough to mostly pay for 1 app, 1 meal, 1 dessert plus a souvenir drink for my son which we all shared. Their fries were INCREDIBLE! my kids ranked it as amongst their favorite anywhere (almost as good as the ones on the Royal Caribbean cruise lol). My DH REALLY enjoyed their Key Lime pie. It was much, much, much better than what we got later at Wolfgang Puck Express.

We have never used the coupon for mini golf mostly because we have never had the time.

Enjoy!!!

We always use the coupons - mini golf in the AM before hitting a park, % off childcare, DQ, and arcade coupon are our faves. Saves a nice little chunk right there!

One nice perk of the packages!

I believe that they only send Mickey mail within North America.

We received ours when we checked in, together with our customised Magic Bands. Unfortunately, we didn't have time to use any of the coupons though!

Free admission to Disney Quest is a great value! Isn't that normally around $40 per person? We had never gone in the past and had little desire to go, but decided to give it a try last year since it was free. We loved it! And we are 2 females with no interest in video games.

We also love the free mini golf vouchers (good before 4pm).

The Magic Your Way package coupons are a great deal if you want to do those things. It makes it a better deal than getting discount tickets. The DisneyQuest admission alone makes up the difference.

I've got resort reservations (room only) for 3 nights in December at a deluxe. I haven't purchased the tickets yet though - Can I upgrade my room reservations to a package? (Is it worthwhile for that short of a time?)

I have a room-only reservation for December and recently bought tickets through Disney online. I don't think this automatically made it a package, but I'm wondering if it's worth it to try and call to see if can be converted to one? I guess it would just depend if I felt the coupons and 'free' stuff was worth paying my room balance at 45 days versus at check-in? Am I missing something?

Can someone share what the Disney Quest deal is? My 6 year old is recently obsessed with video games, so I'm wondering if these will help us. We have a package stay & we are 2 adults, 2 children. What are the coupons for & are they good for everyone, or a B1G1 free entry sort of deal? :goodvibes

I talked to a cm today by phone to confirm we would be getting these. She told me two free DisneyQuest passes are included per package (not per person or per room, per package).

So I was thinking I would send the boys to DQ and I I would do free mini golf with my daughter (since she doesn't meet lots of height requirements to justify OOP ticket)

I'm wondering, though, if the passes are transferable? Either for trading, or passing along anything we don't use. Or is it all linked to MB I wonder. Anyone know?

The water sports discount was buy either hr or 1/2 hour and get another 1/2 free.. That was back in 2010 and THE only time we did the searacyers.. This time its only 15% off or something like that... Never had time to do the mini golf..This year I want to do the searacyers again but on Bay Lake (last time it was at POR and the on the river) but we will have to see how it goes...

I think they are transferable. I met a DIS'er one trip and he gave me his Planet Hollywood coupon he was not using. I combined it with mine for $30 off our meal. Of course, this was pre-MB days.

That's a good idea! I never thought about offering the coupons to someone who might use them.....
