sending smallish envie to cameron991 today - waited to see if I'd get an envie yesterday but alas, none came...

I did get an All You in the mail tho, so I fluffed up the envie with those coupons and some from my entertainment books.

Hoping my envie will be here by friday. I want to hit Publix and Winn Dixie they have good buy1 get 1 free sales again this week. I went to publix today walked in and prayed yes PRAYED and No I am not very religious. I said god I am broke ( Super Broke ) I have $40 left and I have to feed my kids till friday . I do not want to eat another Hamburger Helper ( hate them things Yuck!) so I was upset / distraught about my son being attacked at school last tuesday now I have to figure out how to feed everyone on $40!! soo anyways i prayed rather talked to God,,. started walking aimlessly to the meat dept. no idea why but I was wishing for a Ham. stupid yes but oh well. low and behold what do i see? Yep a Ham but this one was diffrent it was over wrapped and reduced to $1.99 a pound. my heart was pounding I wanted that ham soooo badly!! I said this isnt fair, god this isnt right .. so i looked at it again a 10 # ham for $20 I couldnt believe it. how could this be. I musta looked like a ding bat trying to process this. the lady came out of the meat dept so I asked her whats wrong with the Ham. She said oh the guys ripped the wrapper so we have to reduce it because it lost the vacume seal. i just put it out a little bit ago. I said oh wow.. she said yeah thats a great price for a SPIRAL cut ham isnt it.. I said WHAT!! she says look at it $1.99 per pound for a spiral cut ham. they usually sell for $2.99 and up. Needless to say I was more then thrilled. I wanted to hug her kiss her gravel at her feet ok too much watching Lion King....soo i bought a few more things veggies, potatoes etc the total rang up to $35 I had a $5 Publix coupon off $30 i also had coupons for the potatoes ( on sale ) and the buiscuits that I sprung for after my good fortune .. so all in all i saved $39 and I have dinner till at least Friday night and more with the leftover ham.. I feel so blessed!! as a side note I go to the attorney over my son being assulted tmrw. so if any one prays we could sure use them!! sorry this was long..

Seeing how I just put $6 of gas in my car this morning, I know where you are coming from!!! And yes, maybe I could have filled my tank had I not purchased another $50 Disney gift card for our vacation (DH always tells me about my priorities).....

But none the less, I hope your coupons come on time!! I sent them out first thing yesterday morning because of the holiday.

Prayers do work, I've been there and said plenty of them myself.
