We didn't know we were in the Quake zone either. I have never felt anything like it before. It was only about 10 seconds. From what everyone is saying, people just thought they were crazy for a few seconds cause that couldn't have been real...but it WAS.

I am NOT on the coast, but in central NC, so depending were it hits, we could get tons of damage and power outages. If it goes a little further east then my area should be fine, but if it stalls then turns below us then we get hit hard.

Never felt it but got a call from my sister who was driving when her car started shaking. She was startled to say the least. Such a weird day.
