Sorry I missed posting a couple of weeks. I am knee deep in college apps and scholarship searches. We are on our own for getting funding due to the fact that my childrens' school has a useless counselor. We have just now been able to find out my daughter's GPA and she graduates in May!


Mickeyholic I am mailing out an envie tomorrow. Couldn't get to the po today. I was on my own at the daycare today.




Myliltink I received a large envie on Sat. I had to pick it up at the po because of postage due. It cost me almost $2.00 to get it. Please make sure you have it weighed before you mail it. If the notice comes early in the week it will have to be returned. I cannot get to the po because it is 30 minutes from my home. We are not allowed to put money in our mailboxes. The bad part is that most of the coupons were expired or going to expire on the 31st. The postage cost more than I saved.

PurpleSurfer, an envie arrived yesterday. Hmcfall711, I'll go through it today and get another one off to you in the next day or two. Are you all shoveled out after the storm?

The weather service predicted "about an inch" for us, but we got about four inches of snow yesterday and I had to go to a memorial service last night way over past the Mall of America. Driving was treacherous because the powers that be didn't think it was enough to plow. Well, trying to see the lines on the highways and streets was impossible. I sometimes didn't know if I was in my lane or in the middle of two lanes or whatever. There were spinouts and rollovers all over. Winter can be a real pain....

Say Train Riders, I have a request.

I know some of you have become very attached to your train buddies. When there's a real attachment formed and you've bonded and things are going great for you, I don't always know it for whatever reason. Then I come along on my merry way as our train conductor and upset the apple cart, or in this case, the train cars and do a reroute for whatever good reason I have.

In the past few months, a couple of you have sent me PM's and given me strict orders, pleaded, and sometimes begged to not make switches in your sender or receiver and I've made note of that in my train notebook and I'm happy to do so. But if you haven't made your wishes known and feel strongly about this, you have to let me know if that's how you feel.

Please don't post it on the thread but send me a PM if you are uber happy with your train buddies and want me to keep it that way in the months ahead. I can't guarantee there will NEVER be a reroute that affects you, but I will certainly try my hardest to keep you happy with your spot in the route. Okay? Okay!!
